My mom has some mobility issues. She can walk, but steps are really hard and she can't do much in terms of distance. Usually if she has to go distances we just get her a wheelchair so it's easier for all of us.

That being said, can anyone who has done the Blue Lagoon beach day or the Blue Lagoon Dolphin swim tell me how difficult it
Might be for her?

Would getting into the catamaran be difficult or is it just a walk on? For example, she could step down into a boat, but might have difficulty stepping up and out if it's a really big step.

Same issues when it comes to the Dolphin place.

Thanks for you thoughts.

It has been a few years since we did the blue lagoon dolphin excursion, but I remember that we had to walk about 10 minutes down the pier to a two level boat-- there were a few steps down into the boat and we had to go up to the top deck via stairs to get a seat since it was crowded. Once at the blue Lagoon, the walkway to the dolphin area was wooden, built over water. The walkway to the beach side was partially pavers and partially sidewalk. I would imagine it would be a bit difficult for someone in a wheelchair or with mobility issues unfortunately.
