BLT Resort question

I've never been in the BLT Resort. Is the pool area/Bay Lake beachfront area fenced off on the sides, or is it open?

The pool area is fenced.

You could go around to the beach area though and avoid the fence.

You need your KTWC to get in to the pool area....

Remember BLT is part of the CR, so you can also use the pool at the CR.

We found BLT pool a little crowded in the afternoon with little kiddies and families, my boys are bigger, so we would go over to CR, where the pool is very big, and they also have a cool round pool near the lake.

The whole BLT at CR is a great spot, it is very easy via the walkway or outside to go back and forth between the resorts. My boys can not wait to get back next year....

BLT over does it on security (my opinion) - you will need your key(ID/KTWC) to even get back in BLT once you have visited the pool.

the last time I looked the beach area gate was also locked.

I completely agree with you Pat! If you really want to get in you can so IMO the "security" is more of an annoyance for people legitimately staying there.

Thanks, all. Trying to test out a DVC resort for the first time. We shall see how it goes...
