    Hello! Hello!

    Welcome to our trip report!!!

I hope you will join us on this adventure. I won't make you wait any longer let's get started.

This is how this trip came together...

DH is in the military and a few months ago we found out he will be deploying for the 4th time :worried: . Of course this news were unexpected. This year we have not been able to do any trip for just the two of us, so before DH leaves he requested to go back to Disney .

    A little about us...

We have been together for 7 years. Married for almost 5. We are in our mind-twenties and don't have any children, well only furry ones ;). We both love Disney. Well little by little DH has started to love it as much as I do. This will be my 8th trip to WDW and my DH's 6th. We have taken many other vacations, but he always says that Disney is the place were he can relax. Last year was a very busy year for us and things are finally slowing down. We finally feel we are not running around like a headless chickens all the time. Because of his crazy training schedule this trip is going to be a challenge to plan.

Me- I am a Disney addict (there I said it!). I am taking a break from college right now, so I am a stay-at-home wife. DH is very busy and it is the only way we get to spend time together. I love to plan and organize, and by that I mean anything and everything, things, trips, etc. I enjoy the beach and the warm weather. I couldn't live without music. I like to read. I think that the best part of any meal is dessert. Because this deployment was so last minute I am not in deployment mode yet and to be honest I think I am in denial. I guess I am just trying to enjoy each and every moment to the max without thinking about it much. This most likely will be the last trip we take before he leaves and I know the reality will hit any day now. I have to say we have been very lucky in the sense I had DH home for 2 years (almost unheard of considering what his particular job is), which I think it will also make this deployment harder I am just so use to have him around now.

DH- The first time he went to any Disney park was as an adult. He loves Disney movies (Even thought I don't think he would say that to his buddies :rolleyes2 we will make it our secret). He is very active and likes to work out. He is a very generous and caring person, the kind of person that will go without to give it to someone else. He is very strong (not only physically) and I admire that so much.

Next time I will give more info and dates, hotels and plans. I am so exited I order a binder from disneystore.com a few days ago to make our vacations folder. I can't wait until it gets here :good vibes.

As I was typing this I got a not so good phone call from DH. He said we are going to have to change the dates of our trip because his schedule change :scared1:. I am freaking out because this means I have to start all over again. Wait it gets better we won't know new dates until the end of this week if we are lucky, because the person that have to make the decision is in Florida :confused3. So with that being said I am still going to go ahead and give some of the details of our trip just without specific dates until farther notice. This trip is happening even if we have to change the dates a little bit so don't leave me ;).

We are planning in being in Orlando for 15 days. There will be 3 different resorts and we have not decided if we are flying or driving yet. It is less than 10 hour drive for us and we really like having the car an not having to wait for transportation. In all our Disney trips we always had a car so most likely we will end up driving or renting a car.

We also plan to go to Universal Studios and IOA. We still haven't decided if we want to do sea world or Legoland or both. I was going to put an schedule what we are doing each day but now I have to wait until we get new dates. I can tell you we will be going end of October or November and I hope we get to do either the MNSSHP or MVMCP.

    Up next....

Sorry it has been so long. Last week we had family in town so we were running around the whole week. DH is gone this whole week training so I won't get to see him at all. We have very little time left to spend together before he leaves and it is finally hitting me that he is leaving.:sad1:
We finally got the dates yesterday and I have been working on making dinning reservations and planning things out, but there is still more planning to do. Last week I finally got my binder from the disneystore.com so here are those pictures. I am very happy with it.

I still have to put everything inside and make sections for it. Hopefully it will be done by the end of the week.

    Back to the trip

    Dates : October 4th-15th
Because of the new dates we had to make some changes and cut our vacation a little short :sad1:

And our home in Disney is going to be..

We were going to stay a few days at Bay lake tower, but with the change of dates that wasn't possible. We will be in Disney the 4th to the 12th and then...

We will be staying two days at a Universal hotel but so far we haven't pick one yet. Any suggestions?

I love the binder - so cute! :thumbsup2

So sorry you have to cut your trip short. :sad1: As far as the hotel at Univ., I have no suggestions. There were no hotels the last time I went to Universal if that tells you anything!

Can't wait for more details ... popcorn::

Oh goodness!! That binder is too cute!! I love it!!

You are going to be there at the same time as me. Well, we are arriving the same day, but we are leaving on the 13th.

When we went to Universal we stayed at the Royal Pacific Hotel! It was very nice. Very quiet. We found that it was easier to walk to the parks rather than wait for the boats.
