For those who used the promotion for a free birthday ticket for your children, did a photocopy work? It is the same procedure for the GAD promotion and I don't want to take the original or an official copy. Does a photocopy work? Thanks.

No, for the birthday promo it had to be an original birth certificate, no copies.

This is copied off of Disneys website in regards to the Give a day get a day promo.

For children under 18 who do not have any of the previous listed IDs, a copy of a Birth Certificate is acceptable. School IDs or children security IDs are not deemed Government-Issued Photo IDs and will not be accepted.

If you would like to see this for yourself, visit disneys main page, then click on the link to the promo, then click up top that says FAQs. It is within the first 10 bullets.

when people talk about copies of a BC, they are usually referring to a certified copy rather then a photocopy.

You cannot have your original BC as it stays with the state you were born in and they issue you a certified copy of the entry of the birth (same thing with marriage certificates etc)
