Looking for pictures, any reviews, etc. of this restaurant. We currently have a ressie for 6pm here over halloween. I couldn't find very many pictures of this restaurant and I'd like to know more about it.
Any info would be great! :surfweb:

Biergarten is one of our favorite restaurants at Epcot. We will be sorry to miss it this year, but we are going with friends and trying a few new places and let them also pick some places.

Biergarten is a buffet. Depending on number in your party, you will be seated with other guests at a long table (I think they sit 8). They have various salads--tomato, german potato, cucumber-dill, etc., soups, cold meat platters and cheese platters. Some of the main dishes are Rotissiere chicken, spaetzle, sausage platter, cheese spatzle, breaded pork schnitzel, red cabbage, roasted potatos, pork roast, etc.

The entertainment is very good and the kids seem to love the band and the dancing on the dance floor.

We ate there in April. I had eaten there over 20 years ago, so it was almost a new experience. The food was great and everyone found things they really liked and enjoyed. We left stuffed. I sampled everything and just loved it all. I would highly recommend it. The entertainment is fun, we caught about 20 minutes of this before we had to leave. German band with some traditional music, fun stuff, very engaging. Our CMs were also outstanding and attentive. Seating is family style at tables of 8. Depending on your party size you may be sitting with someone. We are 5 and we joined a grandmother, mother and 5 y.o son. They were very nice and he was adorable - a great Disney kid, and future Disser I'm sure! We had a great time - one of our best TS meals for the week. :thumbsup2

My husband and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Biergarten. The atmosphere and entertainment were wonderful when we ate there last August. We liked dining in a very large room that appeared to be a German village at night. I thought the food was an excellent value. Biergarten also has my favorite dessert on property- Bavarian cheesecake. It is so light and not too sweet like other cheesecakes. My husband and I really loved the roast chicken too. (He also loved the huge steins of beer):rotfl: We are going back this July and can't wait! You will love this place!

I will try to get some pics posted soon.

I'm technologically challenged and have no idea how to post pictures so I can't help you there. I can tell you my family really enjoys the Biergarten and we eat there almost every year. I'm not sure if the show is also done during lunchtime. I would not miss it, it's so much fun. I always make a pest of myself and call the restaurant and find out the starting times of the shows so we can get an ADR time that will allow us to be seated before it starts. I have a couple of very picky eaters and even they are happy to eat there because there is something for everyone on the buffet.

It is very cute inside, you won't be disappointed.

First time start is 1:00. I don't know how long or often they run.

My DH deemed Biergarten a "must do" every trip. Whenever we play the "where would you love to be at WDW right this second?" game, he always says BIERGARTEN!

My DD (she is 9) loves it too. The tables are in a semi circle around the dance floor, and on tiers, so you always have a view of the show and dance floor. All the kids congregate there and act silly and dance around. The show is fun and entertaining. And the FOOD...mmmm, lots and lots of MEAT! It is very good. We tried it for the first time 2 or 3 years ago and my DH bugs me, "why did you wait so long to make an ADR here?"

I took a lot of pics inside, but it is so darn dark! So none of my pics came out.

    have fun!

Well, I didn't care for the food at all! My kids didn't like the food either. With that being said, the kiddos loved the entertainment, and our tablemates were two "off Duty" CM that gave us tons of cool info!

I have pics but need to upload them to my Photobucket account before I post them.
This is a must do every trip for us. We have eaten dinner here once and it was great, but we prefer to do a later lunch for less money(unless you're on the DDP) and get almost all the same foods, minus one or two things. My kids range in age from 4-18 and we've always done well here. There are many simple things for kids to get and the food is very comfort-foodish. I don't think the food here is strange at all. I can't wait to eat here again in June!:)

    From http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/

Experience the excitement of Oktoberfest with a festive dinner show in the Biergarten.
    Daily at 1:15, 2:15, 3:15, 4:45, 5:55, 7:00 & 8:05pm
    Length of show: 25 minutes

    A few hints -

I like to get there in between shows. You get seated, order your drinks and get your first plate while it's quiet. Then you see the entire show and when it's over, you can pay and leave in the quiet.

The desserts are great and I always take one dessert every time I go to the buffet. That way, I don't wait for the end of the meal when I'm too full to enjoy the desserts.

If you get a big beer (or any size beer) and you can't finish it, ask for a "to go" cup. Very common.

    LOVE the Biergarten!!!

I haven't been in a few years, I married a vegetarian, and my dining plans just haven't been the same since. :)

But I miss it. Are there any vegeterians out there who eat at Biergaten? If so, what do you go for?

I haven't ever eaten there, but as a vegetarian, I have gotten used to just asking when I get to one of the restaurants what items are vegetarian, and the servers have always been happy to tell me, or ask the chef, and if there's nothing standard on the menu that's vegetarian, they've always been able to make something for me anyway. Your chances of getting something more than a plate of steamed vegetables and pasta are better if you let them know when you make your reservation that there's a vegetarian in the party so they can make a note of it.

You can also call and talk to the head chef at the restaurant ahead of time and ask what vegetarian offerings there are using these numbers:
    Magic Kingdom Park: 407-824-5967
    Epcot: 407-560-7292
    Disney-MGM Studios: 407-560-1347
    Disney's Animal Kingdom: 407-939-7536

    (got them off of allears.net)

food and desserts are excellent, however you will likely have to sit with people you do not know in a beirgraten type setting (which bothers me). There is a show with traditioinal music that is kind of fun.

    Enjoy!
