Is there a way to get tickets at a discounted price without waiting until the day of the performance?

BroadwayBox, TheaterMania, Playbill.com, etc all have discounts but shows like The Lion King, Wicked, etc are in such high demand, I don't think they offer discounts. I'm not even sure if they have them at TKTS but you can give that a try (even though those would be same-day tickets).

I saw The Lion King and it was GREAT. I wasn't expecting it to be that good but it was amazing.

Good luck! Unless you buy a group package, there's little shot of getting discount tickets to the Lion King. It sells out at every performance so they don't need to offer discount tickets.

My DSIS was actually "Young Simba's" (Judah Bellamy) teacher a couple of years ago. He's so cute! Hope to get up there before his run is up.

The only time I have seen tickets for Lion King on sale before day of, was for Broadway week, actually going on now. I think they only offered weekday shows but I didn't look on the day they came out so I could be wrong. These tickets are sold out for this year.
