We are staying at BWV in very early March and wanted to go to B&C after our Epcot evening. We don't mind going super late if we have to and I am painfully aware of how insanely crowded it gets at the teeny tiny place, but are we more likely to get in without an hour wait if we go later than right after park closing? Does it thin out a bit after say 10pm or so?

Sorry to threadjack, but what is the latest you're able to be served there? I've been thinking the same thing as you - I'd love to go as late as possible to avoid the crowds, and going outside of park times would be great so as not to waste time leaving Epcot and coming back. But it also occurred to me that later might be busier, as everyone pours out the park after Illuminations and heads to the Boardwalk?

To avoid waits the best time is at opening..At traditional mealtimes and after Illuminations/after Epcot closes, the place is packed.

    1) Opening is the best time.
    2) There is NO slack time right up until closing.
    3) Expect waits of 1-2½ hrs.
. . . long waits are anytime after opening
    . . . long-long waits are near Epcot closing
. . . terrible-long-waits are after Epcot fireworks (until closing)
    4) Normal hours 11:00am-11:00pm.

There is plenty of down time. It does get busy at meal times, but we typically walk-in or wait 5-10 minutes during the off-hours. I've never heard of a 2.5 hour wait at anytime in probably 25+ trips there.

I have had success going for a late lunch-3 PM or so. No wait in the couple of times I have done that.

I dont think I have ever seen it as long as 2 hours. You must be really unlucky.

As long as you go off meal times its not horrible. We got a table the July 4th week for dinner in about 20 min.

We ate there three times last week with no waits. We went between 2 and 4:30pm.

We went after the marathon at 1:30pm. It was busy and we were told it would be an 1 1/2 hour wait. We were seated within 15-20 minutes. I really believe they inflate the wait times....
