Ok so here is the deal, When I woke up Sunday morning I had a quick budget friendly get away planned for a four day stay at Pop Century to visit the Food and Wine Festival. By the time I went to bed Sunday night, my budget friendly trip got upgraded to a six day stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge savannah view, and oh yeah add getting married during the trip to it as well. So, since we made these changes to our trip less than 60 days out dining reservations are hard to come by. I did manage to snag a dinner reservation at Citricos for after the wedding. That sounds good, neither of us have been there before, but really wanted California Grill. I know I can get on the lists that will notify you when there is an opening so my question is where else is a great option for a dinner to celebrate getting married that I can be on the lookput for. No need to suggest Victoria and Albert's Im not packing a jacket for the wedding so Im not bringing one just for dinner. Also we arent looking for an in park restaurant, since we have our pak days spoken for and dont want to add extra days ticket on just to go eat.

Personally, I think Citrico’s is an excellent choice on its own, after the refurb. The atmosphere was elegant and the food delicious. I could see replacing it with California Grill, certainly, so you could set a reservation finder and check Disney’s website frequently, especially as your date gets closer, because people do change their plans! Topolino’s is another lovely place to celebrate, with excellent food and a terrace that looks out over the parks.

OTOH, we celebrated our anniversary at Hoop Dee Doo last week and had a wonderful time!

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage - wishing you many years of happiness!

LOVE the journey from quick budget trip to deluxe and wedding. Amazing!! Topolino's and Jiko are great suggestions. If you're staying at AKL, Jiko is extra perfect but would be on my list even if you were staying elsewhere. Maybe also check out Flying Fish (Boardwalk), Wine Bar George (Disney Springs). If you'll have a car (or are open to using uber/LYFT/taxi) and want to splurge, Capa at the Four Seasons (MK area) and Bull & Bear at Waldorf Astoria (EPCOT area) are both incredible and worthy of special occasion dinners - no jacket required. Congratulations!!

Quite honestly, Citricos is far better than California Grill right now. I had one of the best meals of my life there 2 weeks ago.
