Please chime in on your best places to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks from outside of the park. Beach at Polynesian? Beach at Grand Floridian? Beach at Contemporary (is there a beach there)? Balcony of a certain restaurant?

    Thanks!

I've never actually seen the show from outside the park, but I've heard that the view from the beach at the Poly is good, and that it can be seen from the windows in Ohana. We had a late supper at Ohana last year, with the intention of walking out to the beach after supper to watch the fireworks, but by the time we got done eating, and after having spent the day in Animal Kingdom, we were exhausted, and opted to hop on the monorail, and get over the MK to catch a bus back to our resort before the mass exodus from the park.

Great view from the beach at Poly. I think it's better than at GF.

Another thumbs up for the beach at The Poly. They pipe in the music & there's always room for everyone.

If we were to have dinner at Chef Mickey's at The Contemporary, how much time should we allow for dinner plus monorail transport to The Poly?

    Figure 30 min., plus.

But, No need to head to the Poly.

You can see/hear the show, wonderfully from the forth floor outdoor observation deck at the Contemporary.

Does anyone know if they play the music at the Poly for MNSSHP?

California Grill has a balcony and they have an awesome view. They also pipe in the music. If you can splurge on a really nice dinner or are on the dining plan and can use 2 credits it is so worth it. Did this our last night last month. It was a nice dinner and great way to end our vacation!!!

I would say at least 60, up to 90 minutes for dinner, maybe 20 or so from CR monorail to Poly beach.

You could always watch fireworks from the CR observation deck.

The 4th floor observation deck at the Contemporary would be the closest place to see the fireworks if your not inside the Magic Kingdom, because the Contemporary is the closest resort to the Magic Kingdom.
