I was hoping for a late night meal at 'Ohana but it looks like the only night we could get happens on a night that Wishes isn't happening (likely the reason we were able to get the ADR). Any other places with a good view that's not very difficult to get?

Extremely rare. Are you asking about May 31?

No, it's November 17th. And I just rechecked and it's the Holiday Wishes. Maybe that's what through me off. Wishes starts at 9:30 and our ADR is for 9:30. Hopefully we get a good seat in time to see it all.

I don't know what it's like that late in the evening, but Ohana is notorious for running late and not seating you right away. Grand Floridian Cafe and Kona Cafe were mentioned, they are nice restaurants but you can't see Wishes from inside. Best place to view Wishes outside the MK would probably be on the beach at Polynesian.

Not so much, anymore. At least right now.

You can see the MK fireworks shows very well from the TTC

(and they pipe-in clear, crisp audio from the show.)

Note: you are not allowed to stand directly in the actual Ferry loading area.

You can see them from the boat-dock and an outside

observation deck near Narcoossee's restaurant at the

Grand Floridian. Anyone can stand on Narcoossee's Deck.

The outside deck is not a part of the actual restaurant. (All serving is done inside.)

The deck is accessed from the sidewalk outside the restaurant.

Also, good viewing from the Patio overlooking the Marina.

The sound of the show is piped into these areas too.

At the Contemporary, there is viewing on an outdoor

observation area on the 4th floor.

The California Grill observation areas are reserved for patrons that day of the Grill or Bar.

At Wilderness Lodge, the "secret place" to watch the MK fireworks is from the northern area of the Cast Member (CM) Parking Lot.

At the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds Marina (angle shown on the map below,) some of the view (especially of the "Fantasyland" pyro) is blocked by the now unused Discovery Island in Bay Lake and by the high-rise buildings of the Contemporary Resort.

But, the view from the Ft. Wilderness' sand beach (farther north) is more open.

Still the tree-level can block the views of the lower-firing pyro.

Here are the angles of the views in the Bay Lake area.

As for viewing from INSIDE the dining area of restaurants

(you usually need ADRs for most, and they are usually busy during the shows)...

you can see (and hear) them at California Grill at Contemporary,

'Ohana at Poly, Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian,

and (if you have access there) the Top of the World at Bay Lake Tower.

Robo, could you be more specific? :rotfl:

I am not sure I have ever seen a more complete answer. This was awesome. :thumbsup2

Thank you.

This question gets asked A BUNCH, so over the course of several years of my replies about various locations and making maps to explain each, I've compiled them and arrived at the post you see here. ;)

Wow, thanks Robo! Looks like we will watch the boat parade from the Narcoossee dock area after our 1900 dinner.

Thanks for all this amazing info! I read somewhere you could view them from the bridge between the contemporary and Bay Lake Tower. Is that a good spot/easily accessible if we're not staying at that resort? I'm going mid/late Sept and want to watch the Halloween Wishes, but don't want to pay a couple hundred more dollars for the party. Or would we be better off just hanging out at TTC?
