Best place to eat at GF?

What's the best place to eat at the GF?? I'd like to order a cake from their bakery and need an ADR there. It will be DH, DS3, DS1 and me in December. Time of day will probably be breakfast or lunch-prefereably early (like first thing) if it's breakfast, or lunch right before we go back to the hotel room to rest.

Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

The Grand Flordian Cafe is really nice if you don't have children. We had a little birthday think there with a cake for my mom. It is an overlooked resturant so the staff was very attentive to her. The cake was very good.

I just saw your age group. I would also probably recommend 1900 park fare if the kids like characters. Of course, that is more a princess location and you have sons...so if they aren't into that Grand Floridian Cafe is nice.

With your kids, try 1900 Park Fare. It is a great character meal with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Cinderella's stepmother, and stepsisters. The buffet is really good, in my opinion. We will be dining there for dinner again this year.
Happy Planning!

1900 park fare is a buffet is good or GF Cafe which is nice to . I vote for GF Cafe. I like it there :thumbsup2

Thanks guys! I'd thought about 1900 Park Fare but wasn't sure with the boys...maybe we'll try the Cafe  Now I've got more research to do! :goodvibes Food porn and menus-here I come!

We are taking our boys to the breakfast at 1900 for the first time next trip...The characters are usually Pooh, Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins...There are no princesses there in the AM...My boys love Alice In Wonderland and Tigger so I think that they will enjoy these characters...The selection of food as listed on Allearsnet.com looks like it will be food we will enjoy...

We too want to get a cake from the GF bakery because we have heard such great things...So we went with Park Fare for breakfast.

Another vote for 1900 PF. We're heading there in October. We were supposed to do it on our trip in April but I fell really ill and we had to cut our trip very short. :sad1:

DS loves Lady Tremaine and the evil step-sisters. We haven't told him yet we're eating here but he will love it. Actually he doesn't even know we're doing a makeup trip.

I think your kids will really enjoy it!

Dinner has the Step-Sisters and Lady Tremaine

Breakfast has Mary Poppins and friends.

PS Don't forget to try the Strawberry Soup.
