My DH LOVES Goofy--and though he's not one to pose with characters--he has said he wants a pic with Goofy and with Mater--no meals that I know of with Mater (can't even imagine the logistics of that one)--so am wondering which places with character meals have Goofy?
And if you've been to more than one--which did you like best--food and character interaction??
    Thanks a bunch!!
    Have a Disney magical day!!

    :) Liz

I took a picture with Goofy at the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. I think Goofy also appears at Chef Mickey's, I'm not sure which is better, I've never been to Chef Mickey's.

The character interaction at Tusker House is pretty rushed and it's a much bigger restaurant and, therefore, is louder and more crowded. I would choose Cape May at the Beach Club. It's a more serene experience and I really like the little French Toast casserole thingy they have.

i agree with Cape May. Goofy actually sat down with DS and played a game of tic tac toe. It was so adorable, I even videotaped it.

I would say either Cape May or Chef Mickeys. He wears a bathing suit and life jacket at Cape May, and a Chefs hat and apron at Chef Mickeys. So cute. Lots of character interaction at both.

The only character meal I've done so far with Goofy is dinner at Chef Mickey's. it was pretty noisy, but the atmosphere was also a lot of fun. Character interaction was good, food was also good. Plus, I liked the outfits the characters all wore.

Thank you all so much for the input... will definitely be scheduling a breakfast - and it sounds like Cape May could be the place--never tried it - so this will be fun :) Thanks again!

I agree. if you want character interaction then id also recommend cape may. its true that at tusker its a bit rushed cause there is so much the character needs to cover.

Another vote for breakfast at Cape May. Goofy sat down next to my Mom at breakfast and spent a few minutes asking her questions by writing them out with a crayon. We got some great photos!

ETA: We had a late breakfast that day so by the time we were finishing, the restaurant was emptying out. That may be why Goofy was able to spend so much time at our table.
