Alright, we are 9 days away from our Disney World trip. I teach, and my kids and I still have 3 days of school. And as you can imagine our thoughts are NOT on school, but on the upcoming trip. :lovestruc

We are DDP people and we have all ADR's for TS set. Yet, CS is yet to be determined. I thought I would turn to fellow Disers and get YOUR ideas for the best counter service restaurant in each park and your favorite item from each of those places.

Thanks and I can't wait to read your thoughts!:cheer2:

Magic Kingdom -- Cosmic Rays (Turkey Wrap and Barbecued Pull Pork Sandwich)

Epcot -- Sunshine Seasons at the Land (too many differnet items to choose from)

Flame Tree Barbecue -- Chicken and Pulled Pork Sandwich

Studios -- don't have one--we go to our resort or another resort to try a food court

Magic Kingdom: Casey's Corner, I just love hot dogs and cheese sauce, put the 2 together and I am in heaven. 2 hot dogs covered in ketchup and cheese.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, so much variety and it's pretty good. The rotisserie chicken, taters and carrots.

Hollywood Studios: Backlot Express, I'm not wild about the CS places in HS but this one is decent and I like the dining room areas. Good ol' fashioned cheeseburger.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ and Yak & Yeti, both are good but different. Flame Tree: BBQ chicken, Y&Y: Sweet n' Sour Pork

EPCOT: Sunshine Seasons (new favorite...used to be Japan)--ham and Salami grinder

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbor House--fish and chicken combo

MGM: Usually go to EPCOT to eat. But if you pushed me I'd say Backlot Express --umm...double cheeseburger?

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ --If you like ribs get the delicious ribs here :-)

MK: Casey's (great hotdogs and corn dog nuggets); Pecos Bills (nice burger fixin' bar)
AK: Flametree BBQ (you get hefty portions here of good food ribs, chicken DH and I ususally split)
DHS: Backlot Express (it isn't great but better than the others)
Epcot: Yakatori House (Japanese food which I love) or Sunshine Seasons (fresh with a good selection)

Hi :yay: Another teacher here too with 3 full days and 2 half days left :woohoo: This is fun! I'll play :)

Magic Kingdom - Main St Bakery (more snack than 'food') - banana bread pudding and a frozen latte

Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree BBQ - pulled pork or ribs - yum!

Hollywood Studios - maybe Studio Catering Co.? I seriously don't really like any counter service here :(

EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons - rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots

My choices have a LOT to do with selection....since I had a picky family of 5 the last trip... and I wanted GOOD food....

MK: Cosmic Rays - Roasted chicken plate with mashed potatoes and green beans, carrot cake (choice of cake)

EPCOT: Sunshine Seasons in The Land - had pork with potatoes last time...might try something else next time....THE BEST selection at EPCOT. Second runner up would be at America.

DHS: Sunset Market (Near ToT and RnR) has a selection of CS around there...I got a Yummy Italian style sandwich from catalina Eddies...they also have Fairfax Fries, Rosies All American Cafe (Chicken Nuggets, Burgers, veggie burgers), Catalina Eddies (PIzzas, Caesar Salads, Deli Sandwiches), and Toluca Legs Turket Co, (smoked Turkey legs, hot dogs, salads).

    Have a magical visit!

    MK....Colombia Harbour House
Epcot.....the CS in China (it's one of the few places my dd will ALWAYS eat)
    AK.....Flame Tree
DHS.....we don't go to this park very often, so I do not remember the name (maybe someone can help me out, here). It is the CS right next to, "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids'" playground. It is a covered, open air pavilion. It's not GREAT, but it does have some interesting menu items....very different from the norm.
