Yesterday my family and I went to Epcot. Our game plan was to get to World Showcase when it opened at 11 and ultimately get a picture with my 3 year old and Belle.

We got to France and the Belle meet and greet sign was up and it had her times on it. We were early. A couple minutes later Belle came walking through the area just wandering, but never really stopping for pics, etc.

FFWD about 10 minutes and my daughter was playing in the fountain splashing water with her hands. Out came Belle again and knelled down beside her, she had no idea. I told my daughter to look behind her and when she was it was Belle, she never missed a beat. The two splashed around in the fountain together for a couple minutes. I shot a bunch of Pics, but the AF on my lens was off and a ended up with a bunch of out of focus pictures. I was pretty disappointed that I missed such as awesome photo opportunity.

We ended up lining up and getting a couple pics with Belle, then pics with Aurora after.

We were standing by the fountain after Aurora and Belle was going into the back for a break. She saw my daughter and immediately grabbed her hand and asked if she would come play with her. She walked her back to the water and they splashed around some more. This time it was busier and a bunch of parents were trying to send their kids in, but lucky for us, Belle kept all her attention on my daughter. After the water she took her by the hand and walked with her around France for a bit.

It has been the highlight of our trip!

Great story and memories for your family plus pictures as an added bonus.

Those random interactions with characters and CMs are the best!

My DD had a similar experience with Mulan, at the China pavilion. It was a pretty slow day in Epcot, I guess, and DD was the only one waiting to meet Mulan (her favorite princess). Mulan took her inside the pavilion and went through the museum with her. It was such a special experience!

My DD alsio had a sweet magical moment with Belle as well. She was about 2. We went to Epcot character spot... After we had visited and took tons of pictures...we turned the corner into the hallway and there was Belle taking my daughters had walking the long hallway and stopping occasionally to dance , spin, hug or just talk.... We don't know what she talked to DD about but it certainly will never be forgotten. Such a great time.:):)

That was awesome pixie dust! pixiedust: What a beautiful photo! I just love these moments! Guess they don't call it the Magic Kingdom for nothing!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday! Karen

Our last trip we had some incredible interactions with characters and Belle at Epcot was one of our highlights as well.

We hadn't paid close attention to the times guide and didn't realize that Belle's last appearance would be around 4:30 and end just before 5. We got over to the France pavilion just to see the tail end of the line and a CM saying that the line was closed. DD2 was devastated that she wouldn't be able to meet her favorite princess and the meltdown ensued. The CM took some pity on us and said "I'll have Belle wave at her when she leaves if that will help out at all." We told DD2 and she was very excited. When Belle went to leave she saw us and waved just like we were told she would then she came over and gave DD2 a big hug and spent a couple of moments with her. The CM was telling Belle "Ok, that's great but we've got to go" and Belle just ignored her, choosing to stay for about 30 seconds and interact with DD2. Priceless memory for sure.

What a sweet story!! I LOVED how the princesses in Epcot act like you are the most important person they will talk to all day. Disney Magic is the best!

We also had a great Mulan experience in October! My DD6 joined our family through adoption from China almost six years ago. Mulan is her favorite. We had her Mulan costume in our backpack and slipped it on when we spotted Mulan. She wasn't busy at the time, and she took my daughter's hand and spent a really long time talking to her...so special for her!

My teenage son had a cute experience with Mulan in Epcot. My DD was meeting Mulan and my son was sitting on a nearby bench looking through the pictures on his camera.

When Mulan finished with my DD, there was no one else waiting so she went over and perched on the arm of the bench and looked at the pictures with my teenage DS. He was so embarrassed that a Princess was near him. It was great.

This is one of the out of focus shots, but still not bad.

The second time Belle took my daughter to the water, a lot of parents were trying to send their kid over to Belle and crowded some of the pics. The early ones were so much better, but a bit of a camera screw up.

Well now my makeup is smeared so thanks a lot :rotfl2: How sweet for you daughter!

Those are SOOOOOO precious, that will be quite a story and I hope she remembers it!
