For our Music:
I'm not sure on the Seating of the few guests yet(since the rest will be in the bridal party(still thinking, possibly Disney songs here).

For Grandparents & Parents(except my mom) which we're having them escort their spouse down the isle(I may be having my sister's hubby Joe-two bro in laws named Joe-seat my mom's mom and the other Elderly ones with walkers)
but they will be entering into the Izzy(Hawaiian version) of Over the Rainbow-What a Wonderful World

Our Bridesmaids & Groomsmen are walking down to Enigma's Return to Innocense(Skyler and my mom will be in this group)

I think I really want Erick & I walking down the isle together instead of having my dad walk me down. And we're walking down to John Stamos with the Beach Boys version of te Beach Boys song Forever.

Our Sand Ceremony will be to Elton John's Circle of Life

and our exit will be to Wynnona Judd's version of Burning Love(from Lilo & Stitch).

For the Reception we are going to have our bridal party announced in I think to either Black Eyed Peas I Got a Feeling or Let's Get it Started

Erick & I will enter to Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer

Our First Dance is to Bon Jovi's Thank You For Loving Me

My Father/Daughter Dance (dad has no say on the song, because I have the perfect song chosen for him) is going to be to Billy Ray Cyrus Ready, Set, Don't Go

Erick wants his mother/son dance to Guns n Roses Sweet Child of Mine(but that may change).

Skyler & I will have our own Mother/Son Dance probably to Kenny Loggins version of Baby Mine(from Dumbo) if not Bette Middler's version that was in Beaches

I think I want a Mother Daughters dance with my mom & sister to Ain' No Mountain High Enough

Cake Cutting Erick chose Deff Leppard's Pour Some Sugar on Me

and a Last Dance for Erick & I is to Aerosmith's I Don't Want to Miss a Thing(first song we ever slow danced to).

The rest of the music we still hve to figure out, but I refuse to play Barbara Streisand, but it will be something all can enjoy. I just have to keep all my favorite songs off the list, ie Baby Got Back, Da Dip, and any other Booty Dancing Song I love(just so I don't get my Grandparents saying "Turn this awful music off!").

Erick did have me in shock when he mentioed his pink & blue diamond engagement ring when we got engaged(I knew that would be very well worth the wait, hence why I wasn't upset at all why it too so long for an E-ring from him).

There has been an idea with pink or blue sapphires too, but the pink & blue diamond rings look too pretty!

But I have to say his ideal ring for me and DFTVR very much worth the wait.

Cassie, you haven't seen my ever so thick planning binder that Erick saw when I was at my sister's graduation that had all my ideas in it, both Mickey & Minnie theme and Cinderella Theme. He even saw a picture of what I thought was going to be "The Dress". I had second thoughts on it since it didn't look right on without the crinoline skirt(I refuse to wear one of those).

We actually decided on Cinderella since believe it or not Erick's favorite Princess is Cinderella and it is his favorite Disney Princess Movie. He is certainly my Prince Charming(although his nickname from me is Prince Erick). The good news is a lot of the invitations I loved 5 years ago Carlson Craft still makes, but I'll get on invitation ideas closer to when we get our date booked. I know for STD's I am going to DIY type KTTW Room Keys but with Cinderella & Prince Charming on them(I already have the printable ID cards from something else they were going to be used on) as magnets and Boarding Passes too.

Here is my reason for wanting a DFTVR.

I don't think my parents would have ever thought I would be quite the Dianey lover. My baby theme was classic Dianey Characters and Dumbo(my mom made both my baby crib sets, she is very crafty and visually artistic as is my sister). Ever since we went for my sister's 4th Birthday(we're 22 months apart) I knew I loved Disney. I was always the one who asked to go back. Wanted a small trip to Disney instead of a Bat Mitzvah Reception, wanted a weekend trip to Disney instead of a Graduation Party for my HS Graduation, but like many other brides on here, I am the true Disney fan in my family. Disney only feels fitting for my love of Disney. I've always wanted to go during the Holidays, just never had the chance yet to go, and now I know Disney decks out he parks for Halloween, just another perfect time to go(especially with it only being days away from my actual Birthday).

My dad and stepmom may enjoy ski trips for their vacations, but theme parks, especially Disney is always my first choice.

We've never been to DLR or on DCL, so I think our belated Honeymoon(well actually Familymoon) may be a Cruise, and hopefully one day to DLR.

Thank you so much Cassie. I can't wait for us to go on a DCL Cruise. I love cruises. I just can't wait to see Erick & Skyler's first reactions on their first cruise ever. We defanitely need to get down there once at least for Halloween & The Holidays(I'm a total sucker for Christmas lights). Now I have a feeling all of our aunts, uncles, & cousins are probably going to feel offende they weren't invited to our VR, but I think that would only happen if we won the Lottery. And fingers crossed I can find a job that can help Erick pay for this all. My complaint is I know the Economy stinks right now, and I would be lucky to have any job rift now, not too many places around us want to hire me since I have to work around other people's schedules to make sure Skyler is at least home with Erick or Erick's parents. Only one place gave me a call and asked me why I can't lift a 200 lb. Mattress by myself? I can't lift that much weight in general.

Sorry this is OT, but Erick has decided to let Skyler & I go to Disney next month for 4 days 3 nights! I am so excited. It won't be the same without Erick, however he really knows I need a vacation and Really realizes I need to get out of the house for a couple of days with Skyler. It will be nice to take a Disney trip at a snail's pace and do what he'll enjoy and from a Toddler's View. Luckily I have a stroller he cant't escape out of and a hand holder thing(or as some want to call them a baby leash). We are going to fly down(I couldn't drive 14+ hours with him by myself, nor would I want to) and I have found some reasonably priced nonstop flights. I have flown alone with him before, so I'm not really nervous about that.

I am timing his & my trip to be home before Erick's & my Anniversary. We're going Sun., May 16- Wed., May 19th. It isn't long, but with a toddler will feel plenty to him. I just can't wait to see his face when he meets Pooh, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy(all of them except Pooh Skyler calls FiFi), and the rest of the characters.

We're not doing any character dining this trip, just QS Dining Plan for me and Skyler can either share with me(I love the same food as him) or I'll get him kids meals. I am glad he is still 2 so really I'm the only one really needing to pay except his airfare, food, and souvies(we will be coming home with
embroidered Mickey Ears at the very least). We will be doing some shopping for Erick since he at the very least deserves a nice gift from us for letting us go! We're only doing one park a day, no park hopping, but we're going to have fun meeting Mickey!

Thank you so much! I was so excited when he told me we could go for more than a day, and when I mentioned for staying 2 nights and 3 days, he thought it needed to be a day longer. I think there is more for Skyler at MK and I know he's still too short for a lot of the rides(he's under 48", and I'm not sure if he's 36" yet), but it will be so much fun. Hopefully no mommy meltdowns from me, but I think he'll be too excited about being there. At least I'm a young mom whom loves meeting the characters & still loves getting my pictures with the characters as well as getting their autographs. I had to explain to Erick about needing to make ADRs for the TS Meals well in advance, that I think Skyler would have more fun eating and wanting to get back to the action.

Since our printer and computer are broken, I may have a hard time getting he Customized maps made and delivered(I could always order those later or if not order them and wait for them to come even if it is after we get back) especially to put in a scrapbook. I think I may have to talk Erick into allowing me to pre-purchase or purchase later a PP CD(this will be a challenge getting both of us in pictures otherwise, and the majority of my pictures will be o Skyler).

We priced it out for All-Star Movies and All-Star Music. No luck with All-Star Sports, but I think he'll enjoy Movies more since it has Buzz & Woody there and he is starting to love TS & TS2. He also loves 101 Dalmations, so pictures of him with the statues will be so much fun.

The onlything I forgot with when we go, is May 16th is DFil's Birthday. My mom's Birthday is the 15th(I'm hoping she doesn't already have plans) and can come up for a day for me to wish her a Happy Birthday in person.

Erick or I just need to book the trip and our plane tickets(which I think we're going through Disney on since it comes to the same as Southwest's Prices). I don't think we're goig to have that much luggage(Skyler and I usually always fit into one suitcase, and we'll bring one extra just incase we need it). But at least I am so appreciative he is letting us go for a few days. Now I need to figure out how to surprise Skyler before and after the trip.

Thank you so much Cassie! We're so excited to go and As funny as this is goig to sound I am going to love experiencing Disney like a 2 year old. BTW I have Erick sold on WP or WP Beach area for our ceremony, and Narcoosee for our Lunch Reception. I have checked our EMHs so I know what park we are doing each day and have figured out which CS places to eat at(breakfast except our last day will be stuff we bring from home except our last day, I will get at least 1 Mickey Waffle during the trip. I have found non-stop flights on Jet Blue leaving Washington Dulles at almost 8am on May 16th getting us to orlando at 10:30-10:45 am, and comig home leaving Orlando at 7:55 pm getting us home by 10pm(so we'll get as much ime in the parks as I am hoping for. I know the only rooms available were prefered rooms, but that's a good thing. Erick seemed surprised I didn't choose a Moderate Resort, but Skyler is so noisy, I would hate to ruin the peace & quiet for other guests, and the Values are more appropriate for small children anyway.

Yesterday I picked up my latest copy of Passporter to help me plan & a Birnbaum's Disney with Kids(thinking Skyler will enjoy the pictures and will
help keep him occupied on the plane if he doesn't sleep). Since DHS I going to
be our first park, a must for Skyler will be Playhouse Disney, and he will
probably ask Handy Manny where his tools are or search him for the
tools(Skyler can't get enough of Handy Manny or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse).

I can't wait for it to be official, the official mail to get here from Disney, and just being there. I can hear the "It's A Small World" song right now.

I sat for almost 2 hours last night waiting in the parking lot of Erick's PT job waiting to pick him up, at least it gave me time to search EMHs and menus on Allears.net to figure out places to eat and not have the same cuisine twice on the trip(or so I can hope). The only thing I am going to have a fun time figuring out our last day which will be AK, and timing it right to get back with enough time for DME to get us back to the Airport.

If you all can believe it I am a Dole Whip Virgin, but it will be broken on this trip since I plan totey one and share with Skyler, dice the little man loves pineapples like none other.

When Skyler & I go to WDW next month, I am going to buy my Bridal Minnie Ears(I can't decide which I like better as they're both adorible). I will probably get them both and wear the headband ones and have the other ones Embroidered to put in a shaddow box with my bouquet or something. Erick won't wear the groom ears for the life of him, so I may have to buy a pair and copy Carrie(lurkyloo) and attach them to a New Orleans Saints Baseball hat. So some shopping will be done for the VR.

One of my MOHs(BF Crystle) is super excited we're having it in Disney as she's never been before, and almost everyone else thinks I'm crazy. One of our friends whom we hang out at home with also from school seems super appreciative that I want everything centered around the GF since his wife is in a wheelchair and can't walk at all from a disease she has. He also seemed appreciative for allowing them to bring along his parents or hers, so she will be more comfortable with someone she knows helping her in the restroom than a total stranger.

I am glad some of our friends are excited we're having it a place where there's something for everyone and plenty to do(even if they don't go to the Parks).

My hubby is quite Goofy. He booked the trip for Skyler & I and made me think we were going next month, not September. He booked the trip for Sept. 26-29, 2010 instead of May 16-19th. I guess now this gives me longer to plan, hopefully make a few ADRs for us for Character Meals(hopefully CM, CP, and Playhouse Disney Characters at H&V). Erick didn't even tell me he snuck out my ATM Card to book the trip(instead of his, same accoutrements of course) to book the reservation. At least now we will be goig during the beginnig of MNSSHP, and both Skyler & I will dress up. Still thinking of our costumes, although Woody & Bo Peep have been thrown out there by my DSil. We are still so excited to go. I may need some help please figuring at least one thing to surprise Skyler with on the trip. I have bought some things and have them tucked into a tub in our storage room to bring with and give him something each day of the trip. I'll update more and have a separate TR to link in here for our trip.

I have gotten up my PTR for Skyler's & my upcoming Mother/Son Trip. It has been changed from May to Sept., but I get to go home and see my mom for a couple days too. My PTR/TR is a Bon Jovi Song Title(gosh do I love Bon Jovi) and very fitting since I get to go home. It is called the "Who Says You Can't Go Home" PTR. Hey fellow Disbrides. Sorry if I have left you all hanging but I can't log in under Skylersmommy5 anymore, but it's still me. Skyler and I came back Sept. 30th from an amazing Florida/Disney Vacation, and I will love to share all the details and pictures of our trip with you all. Sadly Erick's & my VR may not happen at all and if it does it may just be the 3 of us as a lot financially and emotionally is going on with us.

Before we left for our trip we had found out Skyler
is severely speech delayed (but is working very
hard weekly with his Speech Therapist) and we're
waiting on his Neurologist Appointment to see if he
has Autism and or possibly a Genetic Neurological
Disorder called Chiari Malformation(which my mom
has and can only be curred with Brain Surgery).
Emotionally I am a wreck as it is hard seeing this
happen to my sweet little boy.

I hope everyone is well and I will be back to posting soon. Congrats to any DisBrides whom have recently gotten Married or Engaged.

Today as DH has to work on my Birthday, Skyler
and I are trying to enjoy the day in a Disney
Princess Fashion by having a Tea Party. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and once I can get the little boy to sleep, some new pictures will be inserted in here from our trip.

Thank you so much for the pixies and hugs. It has been difficult, but he certainly cones first over a much more elaborate Wedding for us. I can't believe how close your Wedding is getting. You must be getting so excited. So
sorry I am so behind on your PJ. Oh BTW thr weather in Orlando has dropped since I was there at the end of Sept. My mom informed me it's now in the 60's during the day and 40's at night and Orlando is 2 hours North of her so it's probably in the 50's for the day and 30's at night (so sorry don't want to scare you with cold weather on your wedding day, just trying to help make sure you have the right clothes packed to help keep you warm).
