Beach day??

We will be there from October 25 -Nov 1st. If we wanted to take a day off and rent a car to have a beach day what would be the best beach for family??

I personally think Newport Beach/Pier followed by Corona Del Mar which is just across the jetty of Newport.

Laguna beach is a lovely spot for the family.

Huntington Beach and pier (Ruby's at the end of the pier!) is nice, too.
