What will the view from my room at the Beach Club be?

Effective with reservations on January 1, 2011, the view categories at the Beach and Yacht Clubs were reclassified into 3 booking categories:

Standard view- parking lot or rooftops
Garden view- something green- courtyard or woods
Lagoon or Water view- lake or pool

The purpose of this thread is to give some samples of rooms in various view categories at the Beach Club.

Please note that we generally do not recommend that you request a particular room number for your stay at the resort, but instead let the room assigner know what is most important to you:

    Full Balcony?
    Close to Elevator?
    Close to Lobby/Pool/Transportation?
    Daybed?

If you request a particular room number, and that room is not available on the day you are checking in, the room assigner may not know the attributes of the room you want, so you may not get the room that best suits your needs.

Here is another resource where you can get information about Beach Club Rooms

Garden View- GV rooms at the Beach Club will have a view of something green, usually a courtyard or trees. This could be a woods view, near the EPCOT side of the resort, or a courtyard view of the volleyball courtyard (hallway between the Marketplace and the EPCOT exit) or a courtyard view of the back entrance (lakeside) of the resort.

Room 5703. Pretty sure it is classified as standard view because of large roof beneath it but it had a great view of SAB. If you like a quiet location this is NOT the room for you. ("To the left, left, left....Lifeguard party!) But we loved it!

This was our view from room 4643 in May of 2008. We got a surprise upgrade to a water view at check-in:thumbsup2.

I loved that I could see ToT in the distance.

This one is in the Beach Club Villas. Room 441 (2BR villa with 2 queen beds).

Trying to look left off the balcony, Illuminations fireworks were completely blocked by the building.

This was an awesome room. It was a small hallway to the right when you are standing in front of the concierge desks. It had only one shared wall. It had a daybed and full, dormer balcony. It definitely looked at a garden! We are a family of 5 and were able to reserve this in 2011. I knew that I wanted to reserve for the next trip. Unfortunately, a family of 5 cannot reserve CL GV any longer

We had the same room in 2008!

In fact it was right after the refurbishment and we were the first family to get this newly refurbished room!

Here are some pics from room 4648. I believe it's a Standard View room since we overlooked some rooftops but honestly, until I looked at these pictures, I didn't even notice the rooftops. The room was HUMONGOUS!
