Be our guest... is it worth it?

Hello I have a reservation for dinner at be our guest when I go in September and was wondering if the food is actually worth it?

Absolutely! The food is good and the atmosphere is amazing. Worth is subjective - if you are on the dining plan, it is absolutely worth the credit. If you are paying OOP, it becomes more questionable, but I would still say yes. If you are paying OOP, but not 100% sure if you like the menu, you may want to try lunch there instead for a similar atmosphere but cheaper food options.

I would keep it. My family has had dinner there one time, and it was good. Not great, but good. This is a wonderful place to eat though, so if you have the chance to go and enjoy the ambiance, that ups the ante IMO. Plus....you can have a glass of wine with dinner!! Bonus!

And it's the only place that you can meet and have your picture taken with the Beast if your into characters.

We went for dinner a few years back and it was good. My sister and I enjoyed our steaks, but the rest of the group didn't really care for it. I'm sure a lot of it depends on whether the menu looks good to you and what you ultimately order. :) That being said, I would not pay OOP for dinner, but I probably would for lunch. If you have the dining plan, I would absolutely use the credit just because the atmosphere is great.

I'd say try it one time if you are easily able to grab a res on the 180 day mark. For me, I'm so over ADR's now. It just became stupid to me to stress for weeks, checking a website daily, etc all to pay $40 for an overpriced meal. No thanks. Since you already have the res, I'd give it a go.

All Disney dining venues are worth it if you accept that you are paying 100% more for the Disney experience. You accept that (which most here do) and you'll find all dining at Disney is awesome.

We loved BOG.

Other Dining Options

I've had breakfast and lunch there, but not dinner. Paid OP both times. It was a fun experience and if I could walk in I might do it again but I wouldn't go out of my way or stress over getting an ADR. Given you already have one, I'd keep it if not for anything other than the experience.

Hello I have a reservation for dinner at be our guest when I go in September and was wondering if the food is actually worth it?

Worth it? Only you can say!! It depends mostly on each guest what the 'worth' is!

We have not been to BOG for dinner, because to us, it is not 'worth' the extra $$'s and we don't see the 'extra' in the menu. We 'loved' the lunches we had there as the ambiance is very exciting to us and we have enjoyed the braised pork and french onion soup many times.

There are no 'wrong' feelings - we all have our own individual expectations - and that is 'right' for each of us.

But guess I really don't 'get the point' of why you are listing all the Disney restaurants and listed the ones you have dined at! :confused3 What's that got to do with your OP?

Yes, it was our favorite meal! We were on the dining plan. We all thought the food was really good and loved the ambiance. We were sat in the West Wing. If you can request it, do it. The main ballroom is much noisier and crowded. The only thing about it that we didn't like was that it was a really long meal. We were there nearly 2 hours. I would make reservations again in a heartbeat. It was totally worth it for us.

I didn't list places I had ate at that was someone else! I was just asking opinions is people thought the food was worth the cost.

I really enjoyed the food there! I wanted to try it anyway because of my love for Beauty and the Beast and was very pleasantly surprised by our excellent experience.

Food: Moderate.. You can/could do better.
Atmosphere: Very good.
Everything else: Right on par with your typical 1 TS meal.

We have been for dinner and going for lunch in September 2015. For the time we have been it wasn't "wow" experience for the food. My DW loved the castle/eating areas. She did mention having better food on property elsewhere. As much as I liked the "castle" it still wasn't as big of a "wow" as Akershus or CRT for us.

This is just our opinion. I am sure others will disagree but I'm not speaking for the masses.. Just sayin... :)

I have had dinner here twice. I loved the ambience, we had good service and my shrimp and scallops meal was very good. I would go again in a heartbeat.
