Thinking of renting points for May/June. Do the villas have a pool and are there ground level rooms near the pool so you can walk out and swim- easy for kids and how far is the main pool??

The pool you want is the Dunes Cove pool. There are ground level villas which you speak of. You walk out of sliding doors, onto your patio and you're only a few steps away from the pool area. Make sure you specifically request a ground floor Dunes Cove view when you make the reservation.

The villas have a quiet pool right in front. About 1/2 of the rooms look directly at the pool. It's a very nice pool with a jacuzzi. There are ground floor rooms with walkout access, but no guarantee that you would get one, but it can be requested. I never hear of people requesting that option - most people seem to want high floors, non smoking, non handicapped and views of epcot (or the road), so you might have a good chance.

The main pool is Stormalong Bay and is about a 5 minute walk. That's where you'll find a slide, lazy river, whirlpool, sandy bottom, and other features. You walk from the villas into the Beach Club Hotel and out the other side to get to SB. Here you will also find Beaches and Cream Restaurant and Hurricane Hannas Grill. Enjoy your visit!

The patio areas on the first floor are landscaped and you may have shrubbery between you and the pool deck. You could possibly sit on your patio and watch the kids in the pool, but it might be difficult to get to them or them to you easily.
