Bahamas weather/water in December

Have been to the Bahamas numerous times in the fall and summer, and once in February, but never in December. What is the water ytemp like? I am curious if the ocean is warm enough for swimming in CC? I remember in Feb it was a little to cool to swim on Princess Cays.

I was there a few years ago in early November and the water was cold, but once you got in, you didn't want to leave.

I am hoping it wil be warm enough to try snokeling. But I will wait until I get there and am certain about the to purhase the package. Sound like a good plan?
