Y'all are making me so hungry! I must try the School Bread next trip. I absolutely love the jalapeno cream cheese pretzels and I tried pot stickers for the first time on the Disney Dream. I need to book another vacation...Soon!

Don't you just love walking around World Showcase? EPCOT is my favorite park. When my kids were little they hated it but now at 23, 19, and 15 it's one of their favorites.

We Go On

Every time I pass the American fountain I can’t help but shout “This is America not a foot spa” thanks to the CM who once said that to a family who were soaking their barking dogs in the fountain.

Club Merica anyone?!

Since Club Merica wasn’t opening back up until food and wine we had to go to the stand to get some pop. Brittany got really excited when she noticed the CM nametag, she told her how we lived close by and the girl didn’t seemed fazed by it at all. After getting our drinks we talked about how anytime someone noticed and recognized where we were from during our DCP we got super excited.
We trotted onwards and once we got to Japan I got super excited.
Alish is in Japan, I’M GOING TO JAPAN! AHHHHH!

When we got to France we decided to go walk around and maybe get something at the bakery. However we broke down laughing when we passed Impressions of France. Since Brittany failed at completely our May graduation trip report this story was never told…so here we go
In May 2014 we went to Disney with Brittany’s parents. Brittany’s mom always stayed behind in the morning and met up with us later in the afternoon and her dad normally most mornings came with us. One morning we went to Epcot and walked the showcase when it first opened. So when we got to France he just decided he wanted to watch Impressions de France and told us “Its only a few minutes long, I’ll meet up with you after” during this time we browsed the shop and he came walking up to us saying how they wouldn’t just show it for him and they needed more guests.
Overall we just find it hilarious still today because he literally out of no where was like “I’m gonna go watch this, see ya later”

Our only find in the France pavilion was the long tailed scarf like Marie stuffed animal.

We headed out of the showcase and hung out around the walkway to the showcase.

We had about 15 minutes before it was time for Illuminations so by this time we knew getting a good spot was out of the question and we wanted to beat the crowds afterwards so we found a spot on the bridge that connects to the odyssey.
Absolutely no one around which made sense because it wasn’t really the best spot but as long as I heard the music I was good. Also an upside about not being in the mob of people around the world showcase was that I had all the room to run, jump, dance and sing.

By the finale we were making our way around the odyssey and over to test track. We were lucky enough to make it before the crazy EMH crowds hit since they were all just finishing up with illuminations. When we got there we were in time for those who weren’t staying on property to leave and time to start scanning out bands.

Our ride was pretty cool, but juts 10 points less than cool from reaching the highest scoring car of the day.

When running off the ride to see our photo the CM say us and pointed to our picture. Then he looked at it closer and goes “Is that your hair? That’s awesome!”

And going on Test Track wouldn’t be right if you didn’t take the time afterwards to take some ridiculous photos.

After test track we browsed through mouse gears where I ended up picking up my figment pillow pet because clearly I need another pillow pet in my life.

Then it was off to finally thank those Phoenicians.

The real struggle when it comes to spaceship earth is when the camera doesn’t work. But through the whole ride you are looking forward to how ugly the face you made was but then you get that silly cartoon and it is kind of really upsetting.

Before we left Epcot for the night we had to go pick up our free picture. The line was super long and took forever to get through. When it was our turn we took a matter of minutes because we knew what we wanted and were ready to go. While we were waiting for it to be printed we were just viewing the screen that showed random photopass pictures that was under our photopass. However once we looked closer we realized it was random people and randy. We just looked at each other and died from laughter…awkward! When we got our photo we headed out of Epcot and called it a night because we had another day of park fun tomorrow.

A Frozen Fun Morning

Today was a lazy morning, we’ve definitely changed our ways since our previous trips when we were up at the crack of dawn and out till the wee hours. The main thing we needed to do today was go to the frozen processional that started at 10:30. However I told Brittany it started at 10 because I know how well she manages time. So by 9:30 we were off to the bus stop and waiting forever for a bus to come.
But when it did come we were confused as to why a charter bus came to pick us up.

Since we arrived a little after 10 Brittany asked what time the parade started. When I told her 10:30 she got into the whole “You told me 10! That’s why you weren’t freaking out and getting antsy like you normally do”
When entering studios we found a spot to sit and watched the street performers do their thing while we waited for the best thing that has ever happened to disney…FROZEN!!!

The main topic for this street entertainment was a big flash mob

And if I wasn’t trying to save my spot I would have totally been out on the street busting a move.

At 10:30 the flood or should I say frozen gates were opened to celebrate some frozen summer fun

Heres to the girl that is not as well loved by kids but it one of my personal favorites because lets be real she is so awkward its hilarious.

Everyones favorite snowman followed right behind

And the only reason we were here….SKIER 4!!!!

And then came the queen that everyone is obsessed with and I just will never understand why

Once everyone arrived it was time to sing a long to that one song everyone knows and Elsa to use her powers to create that wonderful Florida snow.

With the slam of the door, Elsa back in her ice palace with her icy heart and headed down the parade route.
With not eating breakfast before we headed out we decided what a better breakfast then Pizza Planet? Can’t go wrong with some pizza and Caesar salad. On our way over there we decided to jump on star tours because the parade was making its way around and why not.

All I want out of life is to be the rebel spy! One day it will happened.
But as for today I had to pray that those seatbelts work because this girl likes to be dead weight and hang when they lean you forwards.
With the disappointment of not being the spy we headed to pizza planet.

It had yet to open so we waited around in which seemed like a long line. A couple got in line behind us and then we noticed more people starting to create their own line. This is when we all stuck together because they also were down with people cutting in Disney.
Nothing and nobody can get in the way of me and pizza planet aka that side salad!!! I love it so much and it doesn’t even make sense why.

Frozen Overload

After our pizza party breakfast we headed to streets of America to check out a pretty cool window display. While most guests are rushing from ride to ride we literally stand in front of Mr Golds shop for a good amount of time. ​

I dedicated many Sunday nights to Once Upon A Time then got Brittany hooked and now I don’t watch it anymore, we have Frozen to thank for that. ​

​

But even with the lack of Once Upon A time in my life I greatly appreciated the little details of this show window.​

​

We headed back to the other side of the park to rock n roll. ​

​

And to make our ride even better we were in luck and got the front seat.​

​

Now our Frozen Summer Fun day wouldn’t be complete without the Frozen sing a long. Something I have been pushing off for over a year. I pushed it off for a couple more minutes as I noticed that the citizens of Hollywood were out and about. But more importantly Paige Turner​

​

We came to the very end of the show so it was back to having that frozen fever.
Gotta have that Frozen fun!

​

On a scale of 1-10 how excited were we for the show…about a 7.5-8 until they sing Let it Go and our number drops to the negatives. ​

​

Now never being to the show before I had no clue what to expect. What I can say is that it wasn’t terrible, I enjoyed singing a long to all the songs except Let it Go. But most importantly the story tellers were the funniest part of the entire thing. ​

And while Elsa was using her sorcery and unfazed by the snow, Brittany and I were trying to “conceal don’t feel” while getting drenched in snoap. ​

Crying In Front Of Strangers

With such a frozen packed morning we had to switch it up. We weren’t planning on staying at studios for very much longer and Brittany wanted to see Beauty and the Beast. So we booked it down Sunset Boulevard, the show started right when as the sing a long ended and because teleportation isn’t a thing yet we missed the beginning and ran to the theatre while singing along to Be Our Guest.

Now we invite you to relax let us pull up a chair as the lobby proudly presents your dinner.

After the show ended I had one last thing I needed to do before we left Studios and that was One Mans Dream. Although during this trip none of the Studios new expansions were announced, talks of One Mans Dream closing was going around. And I still don’t know how Brittany never experienced it before.

I ended up loosing Brittany because she was stopping at everyone thing to read about it, but that was to be expected.

My goal in life is to go to every Disney park around the world

And in just a few short months I will be exploring Disney Seas in Tokyo!!!!!

The video for One Man’s Dream is the major reason why I needed to take Brittany inside. I knew out of anyone I knew she would be the one who understood and appreciated the movie. So once we found a seat I warned her how there was a good chance she was going to be a little teary eyed by the end.

And just like I knew we both sat there at the end fighting back tears, looked at each other and just laughed happy tears. I don’t have feelings or a soul so this was one of those rare times Brittany saw me cry, let alone me not laughing at her for crying at a movie. But something about that day and that video made me so sad and so happy that I got to call myself a cast member and work for a man who dreamed up endless possibilities.

Once the movie ended other guests looked at us like we were crazy while the tears were streaming down our faces and we were reminiscing how we were once apart of that and how we needed to move back Florida.

Down DCP Memory Lane

Once we got our emotions under control we headed over to our last fastpass of the day at the Hollywood tower hotel. But once again our attention was taken over by the citizens of Hollywood. This time however we made it at the middle of the segment and sat down in the streets of Hollywood to watch.​

​

After the citizens we headed on our way down sunset boulevard and I quickly grabbed a Frozen Summer fun map to remember all the good times that today brought. Just kidding we wanted some “props” for our ToT photo because coming up with random poses for rides gives us joy.
The details in this building is on point, and when I finally found the sheet music for What No Mickey Mouse I needed to snap it. This took quite the skill to get, Brittany had her phone light on while I had to quickly snap the picture on my phone before the lights went out and the movie came on.

And to top off our last trip to the twilight zone we had one of the perfect drop sequences. ​

​

Making it back safely from the twilight zone made Brittany want something sweet, so off we went to sweet spells. With all the cake pops and cookies to choose from she ended up going with the chocolate covered marshmallows.​

​

And to end the perfect Frozen day at studios we headed over to see the love experts. The Photopass cm tried quizzing us to see if we knew what they were, clearly she didn’t know that was the only reason we were over there. ​

​

​

We finally left Studios and headed back to French Quarters. Of course on our way back I saw transtar, but most importantly the F bus at 3:20 aka my bus I would be on pretty much everyday to go to work. Oh the little things!
Once arriving back to the room we waited around because Joe was on his way over to hang out. Today was another lay by the pool “afternoon” so I headed down to the pool while Brittany met up with Joe in the lobby.

I decided to call my family because they were making their first day car ride trek to Tennessee. Being put on speakerphone with everyone trying to talk was overwhelming but that’s my family for ya. After checking in with them all I remember was passing out, then waking up to Brittany and Joe being there.
Brittany told me that Joe would take us off property to get some dinner and I could choose where we go. SWEET TOMATOS, NOODLES AND CO, CHICKFILA, literally the choices were difficult because they’re all so delicious and we have none of them at home. So we went swimming and played the finish the disney lyrics while we decided.
I ended up choosing Chickfila because it’s the quickest and it’s a personal favorite. So we quickly got changed, hopped into Joe’s car and got stuck in the DTD traffic. This was really poor planning; we all know how that traffic is and should have gone a different way.
However I got to see how much has changed with the parking garage and the walkways. Oh hey cast service building!

​

We kept inching our way through each light and once we almost passed DTD and to Hotel Boulevard I looked over and saw Cameron, aka one of my old managers across the street. It seemed to me like she was still flip flopping from guest show and parking manager.
We finally got off Disney Property and to the Vista way chickfila.
All I need out of life is a Number 1 combo with chickfila sauce and their lemonade​

While eating our delicious dinner Joe kept telling us how he could take us to Patterson, absolutely not. Brittany told me how she went to the outlet mall that was in walking distance from the DCP housing and she got so sad. I mean we couldn’t really stand our housing situation with our crazy roommates but being back their makes me wish I was still there.
We all packed up in the car and headed off to the Kingdom for the night. The whole ride there was Brittany telling Joe to join us for some of the night and him complaining that he had to be back their for work in the morning. This time we were smart and passed all of the DTD traffic by making a huge circle and entering behind the MK, so we passed west clock and Disney University and everything that was once our everyday lives. Now if we were with Alicia she would just park in the Contemp CM parking and walk, but instead we had to make another big circle to park at the ticket and transportation center.

Goat Effect, Wishes, Goat Effect​

Since the monorail is the normal and popular option to take from the TTC we decided to take the ferry over. Once actually arriving to the kingdom, tomorrowland was out of the question while hanging out with the space mountain lovebirds. So instead we headed over to Frontierland and rode Thunder. And whats the best thing that can happen on thunder? Being in the back cart for goat effect.

Since we can’t make decision on what to do and we still had some time to kill before Wishes we walked around until we found ourselves at the haunted mansion.
Then we headed to Main Street to watch wishes, this was like a first because it felt like a while since I watched wishes from Main Street. I’m content watching it over the riverboat with no one around. But we fought the crowds because I told Brittany how I wanted to watch from the front this trip.

When stars are born, they possess a gift or two. One of those is this, they have the power to make a wish come true

After Wishes Joseph headed out which just left us two, which meant I could get Brittany to go into tomorrowland.

It’s laughter we were after tonight and laughter was what we got.
They picked the best person for Sully. He jumped out of his seat with excitement and the guy behind us was dying with laughter from every little thing.
We had Space Mountain re adds so off we went. But was grossed out when the smell of code v lingered in the tunnel, where’s that citrus ginger?!
But the worst thing of all is when we had a great picture set up but silly me saw the first flash pass and then realized we were in the second car and didn’t move fast enough so I’m a complete hot mess.

Brittany was ready to get out of tomorrowland, so we headed all the way over to the other side of the park to Splash Mountain. Brittany had a pocket full of re adds to use and had a long night of magic hours to use them.

I’m the lovely friend who makes the other person sit on the right side of the log so I don’t have to deal with the waterfall.

If only the family we rode with let us know what they had planned for a picture we would have totally went along. Instead they got stuck with 2 weirdos in their family picture.

Then we were off for some more goat effect for the night. While we were in line I recognized some familiar faces and was going to play a great game of hide and seek but before the picture would send (thanks to the horrible service) I was spotted in the crowd.

After thunder we just walked around frontierland and adventureland. While we passed the magic carpets I heard my name being called and stopped to talk to more people from dance. Then we headed over to the jungle cruise, which was down for the night. So with no plans and walking around aimlessly I suggested meeting up with the group of dance pals we saw in line at thunder. Brittany decided that she just wanted to go back to the resort even thought EMHs just started. I tried talking her into staying a little bit longer, but one thing I know about Brittany is when she is done, she is done and there is no making her stay. So we walked to the hub and went our separate ways.

Being Ditched In The Kingdom

I headed back to space mountain where everyone was already in line, when I got there and saw the magic band EMH scanning line I realized I should have gotten a fastpass from Brittany to skip the line and hop in the standby line once I found them.
So I booked it back to the hub to get a fastpass from Brittany and booked it back to space. This made me question why Space Mountain is so far away. I made it just in time though so WINNING!

Once getting off Space everyone went in different directions. Most of the group ran to Speedway and I just didn’t really have a need to do that so I headed to the Tea Cups with Bri. There was no line, which was the main reason I went there. So we had so many tea cups to choose from. A CM came up to us and said we picked the best one because it’s the one that spins the fastest. Game on!

By the time we were done the group on Speedway was just getting in line. Those waiting around were getting crotchety and if I have the chance to get myself away from those types of people I do. So I suggested that Bri and I go check the wait time for mine train.
Walking up to it I saw that dreaded line, we technically didn’t look at the real stand by time and instead got in the non-existent Pooh line because in theory we should be getting off when the rest of the group is heading over.

In theory we were right, but we still hadn’t heard from them so we just browsed the little gift shop. With still no word we headed over to the castle wall to wait for them. We got a call and I guess “hide and seek” was not a good idea when people are crabby. So instead we watched them walk into the Mine Train line without us.
I mean it was fine because I personally wouldn’t be able to make it through that line.
After being ditched I suggested frontierland because that is truly where I love to be during EMHs.
However first I needed to run and skip through fantasyland because I could. My carefree dancing around to the tangled music self was soon killed when we got a lovely facetime call asking where we were. Clearly they didn’t understand that we watched them go without us and so we were doing our own thing.
My main reason for staying tonight was because I was told we were doing country bears. Well if we waited for the mine train that wouldn’t happen, so it was a party of 2.
Then the best thing Bri has ever asked me was “Can we sleep on the ground?”
Needless to say we did!

Bri got to see me in my country bear glory, you know that 2am rowdy self.
We had minutes to spare before it actually hit 2am so we booked it to Big Thunder before we called it a night.

The park was officially closed by the time we got off so we did what I love best and just took a nice stroll around a pretty dead frontierland. Then headed towards main street.

And while we waited, which seemed like forever, we sat up in the train station and watched 2 goodnight kisses pass.

The group who went on mine train was still M.I.A and I was almost ready to just head back without them. But I was kind enough to wait it out and look over the magical view in front of me. We spotted them looking “super happy” coming down Main Street. And with one last picture we left the Kingdom for the night.

Real Life Pitch Perfect

Today was our official last day in the parks themselves, meaning there was no time to sleep in after a night of EMHs. Our morning was dedicated to all Epcot had to offer us. But not in a few minutes walking in decided the first thing we needed was food. Clearly the attractions are not our go to thing this morning.
We had about 20 minutes till the showcase actually opened and since we had nothing better to do we made the trek to the back of the park.
We made it to France before we got to the ropes blocking us off from the rest of the showcase.

It wasn’t even 11am and I was already melting in the Florida sun and humidity. The 10 minute wait seemed to drag on so we found a seat and some shade under chef de france while everyone else was lined up against the rope.
11am hit and everyone booked it passed the cast members. We however took a nice leisurely stroll around a dead showcase.

Brittany was going to get another cream cheese pretzel for a morning snack but when we got to America it was closed. So on ward we went.

We ended up walking the whole sweaty showcase for fun because nothing was open where we wanted to eat. So instead we headed over to Test track to create our own car.

After test track we decided to tackle the world showcase again, but before we did we stopped to get some refreshing drinks at starbs.
First stop in the showcase was to my personal favorite bakery, the home of my favorite Disney snack, SCHOOL BREAD!!!

Then we headed back to America for a cream cheese pretzel for Brittany. We noticed that the American Music Machine singing group was going to be performing so we decided to check it out since it was new to both of us. I’ve heard a lot of good things about them and everything I read was true. It was so good!

Stupid Judy

After the show we decided it was time to leave the hot sweaty showcase. As we were to engrossed with what we were doing/talking about I heard my name being called. When I looked up I saw all the studio peeps gathered together in front of the Italy pavilion for the dance workshop they were getting ready to do. We stopped and chatted for a bit before we headed off on our way.
Up next was Mexico, just to try to ask for some free chips from guests. This time however we decided to meet fiesta Donald. The group a head of us a 3 kids, so Donald gave each one a hug. What he didn’t notice was how close one of the girls was and when he was backing up he stepped right on her foot. The facial expression she made was so funny and the fact that Donald had no idea he did anything wrong was even funnier.

We moved indoors to enjoy a nice boat ride, we called out for chips as we floated passed San Angel Inn but the guests we not feeling like sharing today.
We headed out of the showcase and over to future world

We only made it as far as starbucks because we were in desperate need of some hydration. The best thing they could do is ask you what size water you want, the biggest size you have please. #ventilife

We took our H2O and headed to the seas with nemo but hung out outside because we knew they would tell us to throw out our water. So instead we found a nice seat on a planter in the shade and Brittany literally bathed in her cup of water.

In the Big blue world we’re gonna go explore

We headed to the whole other side of future world but first we walked through innoventions which was definitely in some sad shape.

Universe of Energy anyone?!

We did everything else in Epcot so why not give some love to Ellen and Bill Nye

Every other time I have been on this they allowed us to sit on the floor but this time the rules have changed, or I just come in when the movie has already started and plop down.
After this news Brittany threw herself on the floor like one of my toddlers at work after telling them they can’t play in the bathroom.

Our favorite part of this attraction….stupid judy!

But the best part was getting our own row to ourselves so we can stretch out.

Once we got some wonderful knowledge of energy we decided to call it a day with Epcot and headed back to the resort around 3:30.
With the little sleep I got I guess I was more exhausted then I thought because I barely made it to my bed before I passed out and didn’t wake up until 5.
Although I could have slept the rest of the day away we had much more important things planned for tonight. So by 6 we were headed to the MK.
It became a monsoon once stepping off the bus, it didn’t faze us because that’s to be expected in Florida but Brittany forgot her poncho. So we had 2 options sit and wait it out or share one poncho and make a run for it.

Safety does not begin with us because I knew CMs were currently 101 and we were running around in the rain and lightning.

We ran passed the entrance and to the monorail because it’s raining and that means only one thing…Drinks at the poly!

101? Lets Go To The Poly!

ALOOOHAAAA!

With the crazy weather outside and making it safe and dry to the Polynesian, our first mission was finding some food. I headed to Captain cooks because it is one of my personal favorite quick services. I got the pulled pork nachos which were quite delicious.

Brittany wasn’t really feeling like anything and wanted to try the sushi upstairs. So I quickly ate my food before we headed back upstairs to the outside Kona island. Trying to get a spot at the little walk up island is one of the most difficult tasks. Especially when there is a huge family just sitting down. The best thing to do it just stalk the area and jump at the person who gets up from their chair. So thats what we did and we only waited about 5 minutes before we got a seat by the window.

Of course what kind of trip to the Poly in a storm would be without some tropical drinks?!

What I wish I would have known was that you could order off the Kona menu even though we weren’t technically in the restaurant. However the service was really bad, we waited just about an hour for Brittany’s sushi. Luckily for us we know how to entertain ourselves.

Brittany how ever was sad because she wasn’t technically included in the “where in the world” game and when she tried to play it with Joe, he just wasn’t interested in it.

Finally after all the picture taking, chatting, singing and drinks, Brittany got her food.

By 9 we were headed off to the kingdom for our last time this trip.

We decided to bypass main street and walk through the new walkway which was once “behind the scenes”

First thing we did was wander tomorrowland and hopped in line for Buzz Lightyear. It’s one of Brittanys favorites and although 90% of the time she beats me this time I was victorious. But I was really mad that I was so close to maxing out and didn’t.

Cause theres a great big beautiful tomorrow, just a dream away!

Then it was time for Mine Train, with the help some fast passes.

Doc was broken, he was bent down with his face in the jewels.

By the time we got off it was almost time for wishes. Since we already watched it the night before we decided to head over to Prince Eric’s castle to take a journey under the sea.

I was so happy because all of my friends came out to ride it with us…

Life under the sea is better than anything they got up there

And you don’t know why but you’re dying to try, you wanna kiss the girl.
