Over the years I've seen complaints from Dis-ers who thought various resort rooms were "too dark" (I think this was usually with respect to the Poly). I didn't really understand why that was an issue because I never thought any of the resorts I stayed at were too dark, and that a "dark room" isn't necessarily a bad thing after being the blazing hot sun all day. I finally experienced the "dark room" last week at Kidani. The bathroom was so dark I could hardly see to shave. In the bedroom I had difficulty seeing my clothes in the dresser, and it was too dark to read before going to sleep at night. This was a minor issue for me because a) I don't like to shave on vacation and b) I was so tired at night I couldn't stay awake to read anything anyway. Great resort, lovely room, but think twice about staying here if you require a bright room.
