Hi! I am a Youth Activities Cast Member. I know that myself and another CM have had threads where we answer your questions. As they are both from a long time ago, I thought I would start a new one as there seems to still be many many people on each cruise that are asking the same questions. So please feel free to ask me anything and I will do my best to answer! Have a Magical Day :)

Have you heard anything about the Vibe being moved or renovated on the Magic this fall during the upcoming dry dock?

Excellent, thank you! How do you get a shy 17 year old engaged right off the start to feel comfortable going to club? (Disney Deam in December)
He is very athletic, plays football, hockey and dirtbikes. But is initially very shy. I know if we can get him to give it a go he will love it!

Has there been any discussion about making the Lab a little more girl-friendly? Not that girls can't dig pirates just as much as boys, but the Lab is a bit of a one-note theme that, traditionally, has been marketed toward boys.

We will be on the Fantasy in October 2016, celebrating my daughters 13th birthday. What kind of activities are usually scheduled in Club Edge, (I think that is the one for 13 yr olds). Is there any place that is like a dance club just for them, where she can have soda's maybe fancy virgin drinks and just danc

Can you give examples of activities they do during the advertised toddler times in the navigator for activities on decks or in the splash areas for the under 3 crowd? As in what type of stuff to expect.

The toddler time on our last cruise on the fantasy was mats on the floor, lots of balls & toys, sometimes some things to climb in/on, and 2 cast members on the floor engaging the littles. Nothing structured....just a couple of hours that you could come and go to let ur kid stretch out and play. They had milk, juice, coffee, tea, and cookies set out. It was either held in a corner of the D lounge or up in the crows nest room.

I read and earlier thread on gifts for the kids club CMs. Is this something we should do or is it just wasted/thrown out?

We just love knowing that you and your children have had a magical cruise! In way of gifts, candy is always very much appreciated but by no means is it expected.

Hi! If possible, go and visit When you get onboard so he can meet the Counselors. Then the first night is important as that is when most of them make friends. I would also suggest looking through some old navigators with him so he can get a sense of the activities on offer. Hope you have a great cruise!

Hi! We will be on the Fantasy B2B starting Aug 22. Are there any new ideas to reward CM's in the kids clubs? I've heard small individual wrapped candies. Cd's and dvd's of the latest music and movies. Do they still need to be handed out when no managers are around?

Hi! Thanks for thinking of us! Anything that connects us to the outside world is appreciated. Not necessarily when no managers around but a little note addressed to the CMs from your family helps :)

I once heard mention that phone cards, especially for non-U.S.-based CMs, was often appreciated?

Hello :) while that would definitely be appreciated, please don't feel that you need to spend that amount of money!! While it's always a great treat to receive small gifts, we really love chatting to you all and getting to know you :)

Any information on Club Edge?

Do you by chance know the brand or format of CD and DVD player on board? If I know I can convert the files for optimal quality and compatibility.

my son is 15, but his mental/cognitive age is 9 or 10. He would need to be supervised. I was hoping to be able to let him go to the lab. Edge or Vibe would not work for him.

You are welcome to take him to the Club/Lab during Open House hours -- which typically occur at least an hour each day in each space.

Enjoy your cruise!
