Arkershus breakfast question

We have AR's for breakfast in June. It stated that the breakfast is served Family Style. I thought it was a buffet? I have a 12 year old DS who is really looking forward to an all u can eat buffet and eats a lot. We are going there for my DD's.

It is kind of both- you have unlimited pastries, fruit, yogurt at the buffet bar then they bring out huge platters of eggs, bacon, and potatoes.

But will they bring him more eggs, bacon or potatoes if he wants it?

We didn't know what was going on when we got there we were wondering where the real breakfast food was until we saw them carrying the platters
