We will be celebrating my brother's birthday during our next trip to Disney in January. When we celebrated my DH's bday a few years ago at the WL, I ordered a cake through room service and they delivered it to the room. We'll be staying at the AoA this time and I'm fairly positive that AoA doesn't have room service. Any idea where to get a birthday cake from? I know I looked into this 3 years ago when I was planning the surprise for my DH but I don't remember and it ended up being easier to just get it from WL because since it was the two of us I couldn't sneak away to pick up a cake without looking suspicious... this time we'll be able to do that. So any info would be appreciated!!

We've pre-ordered a cake at the Boardwalk's bakery & picked it up without a problem. The Disboard's "Official Cake Chatter Thread" ( http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2912870&highlight=cake+thread ) also has a lot of helpful information regarding this. According to the thread, call the number listed to order these options:

    Art of Animation* — 407-938-3686
6-inch $21 chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream or vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream available at food court; place order through Art of Animation at 407-938-3686 for delivery to food court or your room

    Best wishes!

ETA: Magic Kingdom's Main Street Confectionery also has a freshly made Mickey-head shaped rice crispy treat cake covered in chocolate that's (if I remember correctly) $20-$25. It's my DH's favorite Disney treat.
