Just wondering if anyone would be interested in flea and tick med (frontline plus) or heartworm med(value heart) . We just had to put our St. Bernard down due to an unoperable tumor in her esophagus. I have some meds left over and would be willing to give them to somebody who needs them. I just bought these last month and hate to see them go to waste.

I'm so sorry to hear about your wonderful dog. Even though I still have two dogs, I really miss the Chessie we had to put down a few years ago.

Hugs to you and your family.

I have a big monster dog too, 140lb Wolfhound. When you lose one that big, the house seems empty.

Very kind of you to offer up your meds!!! I'm a veterinarian, so get them at cost...so I won't ask for them...hopefully someone who needs them and has to pay full price normally can use them!!!

I am sorry for your loss. My husband had a st. bernard as a child and still misses his dog. He was one of his fondest childhood memories.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

We have had many furbabies over the years and the end of their lives is so very difficult.

You are very kind to offer your medications.

So sorry for your loss. we have three labs and I don't know what I would do without my other "kids". Time to go potty right now, actually. Hugs and my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Califgirl, I just put my Chessie down in March and it was the hardest thing I had to do. I loved him. He was the best dog ever! Just had to say hi to a fellow Chessie owner. What happened to your dog? Mine got Diabetes and treatment was expensive and he would've needed it for the rest of his life.
OP, sorry to hear about your St Bernard. It's hard to lose a pet no matter what the cause.

It is a hard thing to put down a friend, but still an act of love.

So sorry for your loss, and how thoughtful that you're thinking of others at this time.

We put down our sweet, sweet 11 yr lab last summer also due to a tumor of the esophagus. I think of her each day still.
