On our recent trip we had two good cab experiences:
1. Relatives got nervous about making it to TTC from ASM in time to catch monorail to MK for Cindy's breakfast, so they took cab. Very pleasant driver and reasonably priced.
2. We were too tired after shopping our feet off to try and get to the busstop at DTD, so took a cab to Ft. W. $15 incl. tip, driver was very polite, gave us estimate up front, drove as safely as any of those FL drivers seem to do(!).
Not something I'd do on a regular basis, but especially going resort to resort, I can see where cabs fill a need/desire of guests.
