I KNOW it's not a DIsney movie but 2DD's want to see it. Anybody seen any tix deals?

I got 2 Free Ironman Tix recently buying candy @Kmart + Free tix to TS3 by upgrading to the Blue Ray.

    Thanks.

I being saving my GM cereal movie cash for Shrek and Toy Story 3. I don't know of any ongoing deals for movie cash, but there is a b1g1 link for Shrek with visa signature on Fangango. FYI my Chase Disney card qualifies as Visa signature.

I was just going to mention the B1G1 Fandango Visa deal. Its a good deal especially since it works for 3D and Imax as well.

I thought they were done with that promo now. I keep seeing that it's "sold out." :/ If that's not the case, can you please post the link?

I am trying to buy 4 tickets, but it only gives me 1 free. Can I do it twice? or can you just use it once? Thanks!

What is considered a signature visa? I tried all of my regular visas and none of them work. Thanks for mentioning Fandango though. I forgot that I had $70 in Fandango Bucks that I got free 2 years ago thru a promotion (can't remember maybe oil of olay).

Cool!! Just got tickets for my daughter and I for the 1:30 show on Saturday, for only $7.75 - we were thinking about going this weekend anyway, since my daughter's birthday is Thursday and instead of a party this year we are just doing a "girls day out" of lunch, shopping and the movie! Getting it cheaper just makes me even happier!

But no one tell the no-buy board!!!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for posting the Fandango thing. I didn't realize either that the Disney Visa is a Signature one. DH and I now are going to see Shrek on Saturday at 10:35a and it only cost me $9. This is great. I didn't know if we'd be able to go or not since prices are a little high even for matinees.

I just used it twice and it worked. The offer is good for only 1 ticket and 1 convenience charge per purchase-so I did two different transactions with 2 different Visa cards and it worker for me.

Thank you for the link. I completely forgot about the Signature Visa deal. My kids will be so happy when they find out we're going to see Shrek tomorrow.

Look for specially marked boxes of Poptarts that have codes inside. Also, some Walmart stores have specially marked boxes of Always brand pads that have certificates inside with codes.

Thanks again for this. Printed out tix yesterday morning & went to 1:15 show. I was surprised at how good the movie was. DD5 didn't move the entire time.

Thanks to both of you for mentioning this! My DH and DS are going to see this and this Fandango deal saved me some $$! :cool1: My DH has a Visa Slate card so I just tried it and it worked just fine in case this helps someone else.

    The Budget board rules! :)

    Thanks again,

Thanks for posting the link! Weird I couldn't seem to get it to work before. I'll try again when Toy Story comes out.

I used the Fandango visa deal - I got 1 free ticket because we only have 1 visa card. Then I got charge $4 convenience fee - so I only really got $6 off. Still glad to get money off - but it really wasn't a free ticket in the end - more like 1/2 a ticket. It wouldn't let me use it for 3D.

We've never seen an IMAX and we hate 3D...can someone describe the IMAX experience and would we like it for Shrek?

Thanks Op for posting a link to the free ticket. It worked great for me and I didn't get charged the convienence fee. Just the price of one ticket.

We did go to see the movie with these, but they told us our tickets were for the
regular screen not the 3D or the Imax , so we paid 2 dollars more and went to see it
in the Imax. I've never been to an Imax show , but the teller made it sound so good.

Well , not only did we love the movie , but the Imax experience was incredible and we
will make a point to see all future 3D movies there. The screen is huge and all I can
    say is wow.

I hope that fandango offers up the same deal for Toy Story 3.
