Used these wonderful boards for our last trip to WDW and got a terrific deal at the DI. Are there any rates worth looking into? We're flexible on timing --- Nov, Dec or Jan 2001. We're trying to go when it's not TOO crowded. Many thanks.

TapCat: If you or anyone that's traveling have a AAA card, Disney does offer AAA rates during that time (value season). You'd save 10% on value hotels, 15% at the moderates, and 20% at the deluxe hotels during value season. But you'd have to catch them quickly - once they make them available, they tend to be snatched up.

I have yet to pin them down on when the Disney Club rates are offered and what they are...but they're probably just about the same. Just be sure to ask for "room only" rates, or they'll offer you some bogus package, which has a 45 day cancellation policy, as opposed to the 5 day room only cancellation policy.

    Hope this helps a little.

You can get an AP rate of $59/night at the AS for January and some of February, I actually got $49/night for a special state resident discount, they offered several states, I'm in SC. Good luck.

I just got $77 per night room rate for All-Star Music Nov. 4-11 using Disney Club membership. Value season starts on Nov. 4 - took 3 phone calls and 45 minutes of wrangling with operators to get someone to tell me that and explain why trip I booked beginning Nov. 2 was running nearly $2000 for two rooms (booking agent claimed to give me discount, but really hadn't). When we moved the trip to begin on Nov. 4, more than $900 magically dropped off trip cost. Give Disney Club membership a try - it saves you money in the long run. And Nov./Dec. is a GREAT time to go.
