I'm just looking for "company" on the boards, someone to swap advice with, on "doing Disney" with cancer (my new "normal"). I am a 42-year-old wife and mother of 3. :)

    Hi!
Not a stage IV survivor here, but a stage II pancreatic cancer patient.
Diagnosised in July of this year. Had whipple surgery in Sept. and going thru six months of chemo.

We are going to make ressies for next Thanksgiving with the plan to celebrate being all together!! There will be about 20 of our family celebrating!
If need be we will rent a scooter!
    Think Positive!!!!

I will add you to my prayers!!!

Also not stage IV, but a two time cancer survivor who loves my DVC. First cancer was ovarian in 1990 (stage 1), second one was colon in 2009 (stage 3). With my colon cancer I finished chemo just two weeks before the 2009 DVC Member Cruise so have experience sailing and stay at DVC after treatment. Feel free to ask away if you have any questions.
