    Zinnia-Are lovely summer flowering annuals. The like sunny spots and grow to heights of 24-36 inches. They come in a wide range of colors and make delightful cut flowers, they have a beeswax smell about them.

    Zinnas grow in ordinary well drained soil. Dead-head regularly to encourage new blooms.

    ...and the year that we had the worst drought in decades, my zinnias thrived when even half of my shrubs died. I don't think I did water them. That's the plant for me!
