Me either...we'll see if they really look like that  Since they have queen beds now, I think we'll be fine. While we loved FW cabins, the bed almost did DH in. And yes!!! Do get a peek in one and let me know...I'm so curious:scratchin

Kook....where's your ticker:confused3 You always have a trip planned!

Thanks...I'm a big planner, so this is a little out of my comfort zone. We'll see how it goes. Faith doesn't know that we booked that room...hope she loves it.

A few days at WDW????....why not???!! Go for it! And WL is a good choice:thumbsup2 The 5 of us are going to squeez ourselves into POR for a weekend....hopefully we won't kill each other  Jesse likes to sleep in a sleeping bag, so I'll throw one of those in the truck before we leave;)

Glad she's feeling better and got your computer issue fixed;)

This is true! While my hubby loves the World, he usually doesn't initiate such conversations...not sure what's gotten into him  She does know that we are going for her bday, but doesn't know which resort....a very last minute trip. She doesn't realize that these Royal Princess rooms exist, so hopefully she'll be a little surprised. We're going to have a bday gift waiting on her in the room.

Hello ladies! I am on the phone applying all the Dis GC’s I got at Target to my Feb resie. I really didn’t want to have to sit and have them scan all of them at check in so I am taking the time now to key them all in, LOL! We are definitely staying put for our dates now that the AP discounts have changed and our exact reservation is almost $500 more

Jeanette – I guess I read your dates wrong, I thought you were going to be at Anna Maria the week after the 4th of July. Our reservation is July 6th-13th. That stinks

Mommyrosa2 - I totally forgot about CSR business class, maybe I will check it out for our April trip, although I don't know if DD will give up her Royal Room :scratchin

Linda – LOL about retirement leaving you too much time on the computer to play, I feel the same way being a stay at home mom, especially when the kids are in school :rolleyes1

Padawans – Oh a pet friendly room at, how exciting! Congrats on the rescue puppy!

Wookie – LMAO :rotfl2: about DH and his hotness planning a Dis trip!!!! And OH MY what a scary morning, I think I need to by kidnapped by my bed too :p

Candace – YAY for PIF

Heather – we also have a royal room booked for DD’s bday, since CR was way too much she “settled” for a RR, LOL! I think they are really cute rooms! Now that your jaw is off the ground I hope you got the ADR’s you set out for.

Jen – OH NO, poor DD, and poor mama!! How scary! :worried:

KOOK – I love the Mickey and Orange Bird :thumbsup2

Hope everyone else is having a great day!!! :goodvibes

Smart move! And yay for GCs!!!! I'm using Disney Visa points for this trip.

Jaw is off the ground, but still not in place  Of course, I had to swear that I would make no upgrades:rolleyes1 and haven't.....yet. I did make one ADR for Tony's Town Square. Not really sure where Bill wants to eat, so I'll finish tonight...hopefully.

I think mine just tolerates it because he knows I love it so much. This next trip will be the last one we have for a while to WDW. There are too many other places we want to go with the boys before they leave home. Next the DH would love to do a train trip out to LA. We would see the tar pits, the walk of fame, go to Universal. Then rent a car to drive up to Redding. The DH lived there for a while and wants to show it to the boys. Then see Mt. Shasta and the Redwood Forest. The kicker is he wants to take me all the way to CA and not let me go to DL.

I'm sure she will love it!! I wanted to stay in one for our last trip. When I showed the pictures to the DSs, they said it was "too girly".

I will keep my fingers crossed that one day soon, you are kidnapped in the same way.

Hi friends! Sorry I've been less active lately, just very hectic with the holidays and all my running around -- today was my interview, so now it's just a waiting game and I should know in a couple weeks whether I was successful or not. I am a tad scared, hoping I didn't bite off more than I can chew! Well we will see what the decision is soon.

My DS 16 has said he'd like me to take him and his BFF to Disneyland next yr (perhaps in FEB) -- if I get the job it may be something I think about -- however it would be a shorter trip/ probably 4 days in DL and a tour to Universal Studios California. I've heard that a DL trip could be as expensive as a 9 day WDW trip! That's scary and would be a deal breaker as I want to go to WDW again in Jan 2015--- so this DL trip would have to be cheaper than I am used to -- hopefully under $5K
I don't know how important on site is at DL -- maybe Linda can jump in and let me know her thoughts/ recommendations?? I'm loving the Disneyland hotel, but my pocket book may not love it in the end! Any off site hotel recommendations if on site is not necessary?? If I get my FT job, it may be something
I begin to think more seriously about! I haven't been to DL since 1990!!!! Linda, if I do come, I am going to need a ride buddy with my son having his BFF to sit with! ;)
    Marie
PS..... Candace, I see your not WL CL anymore! Back to YC?? I hope you are all happy with that new change :) yeah for PIF!!!

For the DL Diva trip I'm staying at the Hilton. Walking distance to the parks, etc or a short distance to the Toy Story parking lot to catch a shuttle. We usually walk to the park but take the shuttle back in the evening. I just got a great deal there. Give me notice and I can pop down there for a couple of days or so. End of February might be the Diva trip again.

kook aren't you done cooking dinner yet???? :rotfl2: As you can see I gave up on the orange bird. I really need to remove that stupid gray box ... people on other threads are going to think I've lost it! :rotfl:

We cancelled a 3 night Dream cruise/6 night land vacation at Coronado Springs today. I have cruised on other cruise lines for no shorter than a week, and I just couldn't wrap my head around a 3 day cruise. It seems like we would just be getting settled in and have to be getting ready to go! So....I changed to 9 nights GVCL at the Yacht Club and saved at least $1,000 in the process. My DH doesn't know the resort I switched to (He's a Deluxe kind of guy ;)), and my girls don't even know we are going on a trip! Surprises for everyone!!

I'm so excited about going back to WDW,and very excited about the Yacht Club and Stormalong Bay, but I have a bit of cruise remorse right now. Will someone please tell me I'm going to be okay

You are going to be just fine!!! Take it from a cruiser ;) I agree with you, a 3 nt cruise is a just a tease. Our 7nt cruises went by way too fast and I started to understand why people booked back to backs. This year we opted for a lot of smaller Disney vacations and are loving....no cruising remorse at all! Then again the fact the we stayed at YC, WL, CR CL and are heading back to CR helps just a bit ;) DH and I absolutely LOVE YC!!!! Nothing has felt like home to us like YC did. But the kids loved CR and if they are happy, we are happy :)

Ok Found out Poly volcano pool is supposed to undergo refurb during my stay it is supposed be complete by march 1 but they say the slide and pool will be closed. I check in on Feb 27. ARGH.

Ok my trip to Poly last March slide was closed most of trip, and the year before at BWV the Luna pool was closed for our whole stay. We are from New England it was hot for us and we definitely make use of relaxing by pool and slide is huge for my son.

Can't believe I am considering changing again :confused3 to BC or YC CL

Nothing gets past you, Heather! You're right, this may be a first, but I currently have no WDW reservations, hence no ticker. I guess the right mood hasn't hit me since our last trip and since I've been working on the new CR thread, I plumb forgot! But, our APs are good through the end of March so maybe a spring break trip is in order :scratchin

Will you post a royal birthday trip TR?

    :goodvibes

So glad you like him, Gwynne:goodvibes

Stupid grey box? It's a snazzy question mark now! We know you can do this - follow along with me now:

This is the correct image address you will need to copy below. Since it doesn't post the whole address, you'll need to click on it and then copy the full address from the URL bar:

    http://i621.photobucket.com/albums/tt291/WDWKOOK/WDW/aod558568LARGE-1.jpg

Copy the whole address and then type [IMG] after jpg. Now paste (put) it into your signature and it should now be an image!
