Day 3
Wednesday 16th September 2015
Part 1 – Crossing something off my Disney bucket list...

Hellooo day 3!

This morning we got up at 8:30am and went for our complimentary breakfast at the California Grill - the Paris edition.

22897972049_2196325340_b.jpg

Here’s my free breakfast, thanks Mickey.

22871792837_279cc00afb_b.jpg

And here’s our castle view of the day!

23265912745_bd2a9c38f3_b.jpg

Seriously, these free breakfasts are the greatest way to start a Disney day!
(Hey, I’m a poet and I didn’t know that I was one.)

At 10am we were full and ready to hit the parks, so we headed down to the lobby (where I had to snap these creepy puppets because they’re awesome.)

22638785423_accdcf982e_b.jpg

We walked over to Disneyland and it was looking like a pretty rainy day. Good job we had our jackets.

The first thing we wanted to do was visit the REAL LIFE DRAGON, who lives under Sleeping Beauty Castle!

23239776556_a28166835e_c.jpg

I guess by the look of this sign, the dragon is supposed to be Maleficent in her dragon form.

22638779053_9ee5527426_b.jpg

She. Is. AMAZING.
She sleeps a lot…

22871772067_84c7d6e39a_b.jpg

But occasionally she wakes up…

23239761616_df7e4fbfc2_b.jpg

And she ain’t happy about being chained down.

SO cool.

We continued through the back of the castle and had a quick look in the Snow White store.
I love this store because it’s set inside the seven dwarf’s cottage and its adorrrrable.

23265888245_bda92578f6_b.jpg

23239755186_79a47432d0_b.jpg

While we were here we thought we may as well ride Blanche Neige et les Sept Nains.
AKA Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

23265881175_26316fde59_c.jpg

23265876645_ca4315522a_b.jpg

22970032690_af8622e151_b.jpg

It’s kind of similar to the old Magic Kingdom version, although the scenes are a bit different.

THIS monstrosity is the same though, this always terrified me as a kid.
Not any more though, I am an adult now.

Ahem.
Anyway.

Here’s some weird non-Disney looking animatronics at the end of the ride.

22871747957_380f577256_b.jpg

You-two-are-weird-gif.gif

Next up, we rolled next door to ride Pinocchio!

22970026490_0b2bdf70ab_c.jpg

I guess this is pretty similar to the DLR ride, although I’ve never ridden it so I can’t say for sure.
It’s just another cute ride-through.

23239733786_9261926168_b.jpg

It also contains some scary scenes that childhood Katie was terrified of.

Again, not adult Katie, no sir.

In keeping with the classic-Disney-movie-ride-through theme of this morning we rode Peter Pan again!
I love the loading area, it looks like the rooftops of London with smoking chimneys and everything. :lovestruc

23239729676_8b5dbd052e_b.jpg

22638730543_1dcbdb0603_b.jpg

After Peter Pan we decided we'd had enough fantasy for now, so we headed over to Frontierland to ride the family favourite – Big Thunder Mountain.

Unfortunately it started POURING rain while we were in line, so we had to prepare…

22638727673_85b7c75a8c_b.jpg

However, something awesome happened.
With this ride-through I managed to cross something off my Disney bucket list…

BE EVACUATED OFF A RIDE.

This might sound crazy, but I’ve wanted to be evacuated off a ride for ages
I had NEVER been evacuated before.
I just like the thought of having to walk backstage/behind the scenes.

The good news was, we only broke down right at the end, so we actually got to ride 90% of the ride.
The bad news was, we sat out in the rain in our broken-down train for AGES before we were rescued!!!

The wait was worth it though. I enjoyed walking back along the tracks and through the mine!

Part 2 – I'm singin' in the rain.

After we were safely evacuated from Big Thunder Mountain we went next door to visit the Haunted Mansion, aka, Phantom Manor!

22897879309_f062da84e0_b.jpg

I really like this mansion because it’s further away from everything than it seems. When you’re up on the porch you seem really isolated from the Disney magic!

22638693133_323a9f0c51_b.jpg

23265822125_ddddc4f4b6_b.jpg

We got into the stretching room and there was a bit of a hold-up before anything got started, so the CM announced a guest’s birthday, and THIS ensued….!!

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Did you hear the CM’s evil laugh to try to bring the cheery birthday mood back down the a Haunted Mansion mood?!
I love this video so much.

This is a fun version of the Haunted Mansion. A lot of the first half is the same as MK’s, but towards the end you go out into a night-time scene through the Frontierland town, and it’s pretty unique.

On our way out we found these amusing gravestones.

22897869529_3edc66c136_b.jpg

That’s one for the adults I guess

As we left Phantom Manor the torrential rain restarted, so we headed to the closest shelter, which was the riverboat stop.
So when it rolled around, we decided to hop on!

23239678406_5b7f409631_b.jpg

22638679243_1746e7c7be_b.jpg

(Of course, as soon as we set off around the river the rain stopped, only to start up again when we exited the boat. But I digress.)

22969961770_56870d0e3e_b.jpg

23265788035_235391e928_b.jpg

The empty line at Phantom Manor was looking super creepy!!!

22638636633_1d24ee8a62_b.jpg

22897800879_a8b2f70817_b.jpg

We returned back to shore and realised we were still soaking wet from being stuck outside on Thunder Mountain, and we were all freeeeezing, so we headed to Casey’s for a hot drink in an attempt to warm up.

22871619387_f7369e5bcb_c.jpg

22638614483_073545b986_b.jpg

We impulsively decided to get some hot dogs too, which is always a great impulse to act upon.
They were really good and freshly made, although Dad said that the service was pretty bad, the CMs were stood around talking rather than serving people.
But oh well.
We all enjoyed our hot dogs a lot!

22638610523_26f1a5c8e7_b.jpg

23265730265_0e3c2523b5_b.jpg

23239596346_d09432c1f3_b.jpg

Once the rain had died down a bit we went over to Discoveryland to ride Buzz!
I’m onto such a winner.

22897778149_e7d87e5b91_b.jpg

We rode a second time and we stopped next to a sweeeeet target.

WINNER.

22638594943_6578f2524a_b.jpg

After Buzz we noticed that THIS was the line for Space Mountain, so we hopped on of course.

22969875710_5dfd8a4573_b.jpg

22871590917_7fd6c86a22_b.jpg

The rain was back with a vengeance, so we walked down the Discovery Arcade and headed to the Studios to see some indoor shows!

Any "honorary Brit" status you were accumulating has just gone right down the drain mister. :sad2:

Dang it!!!! So close!

so. close.

I think it had just been raining in the early morning, tomorrow was the VERY rainy day! :umbrella:

The rain, rain, rain
Came down, down, down

Now if I ever see you at Disney we're going to need to ride the tea cups. ::yes::

If we got a chance to meet... I would ride it with you.
And I don't say that lightly.

Jamie and Ruby can go sit on a bench somewhere.

Actually, at DLP the characters don't tend to have handlers around, so it can be a serious mob of people just pushing their child into the characters, it's a complete free-for-all! You're actually very lucky to find an orderly line for characters there!

Hmmm.... I wonder if that means they'll soon start to add handlers?

I like to believe you do go back and watch my videos, but you're such a social butterfly here on the trip reports board I bet you forget!!!!

I'm a social butterfly!
Never been called that before.
(And I've been called many, many things)

And did I watch it?

"Ow. Ow! My head!"

This morning we got up at 8:30am and went for our complimentary breakfast at the California Grill - the Paris edition.

22897972049_2196325340_b.jpg
Such a simple but beautiful place - and the view again!!!:thumbsup2
At 10am we were full and ready to hit the parks, so we headed down to the lobby (where I had to snap these creepy puppets because they’re awesome.)

22638785423_accdcf982e_b.jpg
Oh my gosh those are awesome!!!!!:hyper:
She. Is. AMAZING.
She sleeps a lot…

This is an incredible part of DLP. The dragon looks so lifelike and I love how she moves too.
We continued through the back of the castle and had a quick look in the Snow White store.
I love this store because it’s set inside the seven dwarf’s cottage and its adorrrrable.
:jumping1: Love.
Here’s some weird non-Disney looking animatronics at the end of the ride.

22871747957_380f577256_b.jpg
:rotfl2:That is too great. At least the animals look like the ones from the movie:laughing:
With this ride-through I managed to cross something off my Disney bucket list…

BE EVACUATED OFF A RIDE.

This might sound crazy, but I’ve wanted to be evacuated off a ride for ages
I had NEVER been evacuated before.
I just like the thought of having to walk backstage/behind the scenes.
Cool!!! I had to be evacuated off of Kali River Rapids once. It was like 13 years ago, but it wasn't too much "fun" because we were stuck on one of the hills leading to a drop. So we had to go down a big ladder - it was...interesting:rotfl:

The good news was, we only broke down right at the end, so we actually got to ride 90% of the ride.
The bad news was, we sat out in the rain in our broken-down train for AGES before we were rescued!!!

You were right, this does seem like the most rainy day ever! :scared1:

I am just in awe of DLP. I kept bugging my husband last night. "Look at this!" "Oh my god, look at this!" He says I'm obsessed. Pffft. It is just so beautiful there!

Oh My Goodness! This looks super cool!

BE EVACUATED OFF A RIDE.

This might sound crazy, but I’ve wanted to be evacuated off a ride for ages
I had NEVER been evacuated before.
I just like the thought of having to walk backstage/behind the scenes.

It would be like a private behind-the-scenes tour!! Awesome!

La Mason d'Hante et tres effrayant! But I like it!!

This is brilliant! Hilarious!

That really is neat to get to walk on the tracks of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. I enjoyed the pictures. I really liked the pictures of the dragon. That really is a neat little touch. Your breakfast looks great. I find it interesting that they serve baked beans for breakfast though. We usually have those in the summer at a barbecue.

Wow that sure looked like a wet day. I do love the Phantom Manor there though. I think I dragged my family on it far more times than they would have liked. At least you got to go on some rides with little wait...and being evacuated is pretty cool too!

GIRRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! I am such a bad, bad DISer! I am soooooooooooooo far behind! Your shiny new TR was my first port of call today and I just did this ridiculously long comment and BAM my internet died and it all vanished!:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:
So here is my much less cool, not funny and amazing less witty version of said former comment!

And I was prompted to think about some of my Disney friends before we’d even reached the ferry.. You know who you are :thumbsup2

IT’S PINK.

giphy.gif

Seriously it does look like they dyed the GF a nice peachy pink! Who says buildings can#t follow fashion trends!

Since there’s no Splash Mountain here (probably due to the colder climate)

That is so sad! Stupid weather ruins everything! :sad2:

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! MYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!

This is just too cute! :lovestruc :lovestruc

James ordered a rum and coke, and as you can see, the rum filled half the glass! It must’ve been so strong.

I was starting to get a little better!
Well, better than my last score of 34,600…
And I reclaimed my crown from James.
AND THAT’S ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS.

Yay!!! You did it!! :cool1:

I found this HILARIOUS at the time. I even dragged everyone back to look at Aladdin’s face.
He reminds me of the “you don’t say” meme

When I say this is a rickety roller coaster, I’m talking “coming off the ride with concussion” level rickety.

Every time I go on this, my head bashes from side to side against the shoulder harness so much, and I come off it with such a headache.

I tried to explain this to my family, and they totally did not remember it that way.
They were all like “Well I don’t remember it being like that, I’ve never had that problem on this ride…”

WELL, THIS VIDEO FOOTAGE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

:rotfl2:

PAIN.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

You poor thing!

Wow they must have better ghost maids in France! :rotfl:

ower of Terror is one of my favourites so I was super excited to ride for the first time in a year, but unfortunately it was RUINED by someone in another elevator, who was taking FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY.

:furious:

I love Ray!! That film is so under represented!

I was cooing over every little thing, and at one point I exclaimed,
“It’s so FRENCH.”
To which James responded,
“Yeah.. It’s almost as if we’re in France!”

Ah brothers!

THE BACKLOT TOUR.

22516050887_86079a3e43_b.jpg

Yay!! :jumping1:

We enjoyed this little placemat of entertainment.

22908396906_c59db24438_b.jpg

Okay I totally just sat and tried to workout who all of these were! :rotfl:

In the picture below you can see the Mickey flowerbed in front of the hotel :goodvibes

22311637944_342924676f_b.jpg

So pretty! :goodvibes

WE’RE BACK, YAY.

22908375806_4273b4843e_b.jpg

He looks so happy! ::yes::

The first thing we wanted to do was visit the REAL LIFE DRAGON, who lives under Sleeping Beauty Castle!

That is very cool!

She. Is. AMAZING.
She sleeps a lot…

Sounds pretty good to me! :thumbsup2

And she ain’t happy about being chained down.

SO cool.

Hey how did you get that video of me first thing in the morning?!

Here’s some weird non-Disney looking animatronics at the end of the ride.

22871747957_380f577256_b.jpg

Wow they make Ariel and Eric look super doper happy and excited to be together! :lmao:

They be like:

:rotfl:

Unfortunately it started POURING rain while we were in line, so we had to prepare…

That’s one for the adults I guess

:rotfl::rotfl2::lmao:

Okay I am going to try and keep up this time and not be a horribly inept DISer!

Here’s my free breakfast, thanks Mickey.

Extra sausage this morning I see.

Which brings me to... the Ketchup. For the sausage? (my first thought) or the eggs?

Seriously, these free breakfasts are the greatest way to start a Disney day!
(Hey, I’m a poet and I didn’t know that I was one.)

Hey! No way!
(I too am blessed with the gift of rhyme and scansion and was not aware of this fact.)

so we headed down to the lobby (where I had to snap these creepy puppets because they’re awesome.)

22638785423_accdcf982e_b.jpg

I was looking at them and.... "OMG. They're floating!"
Took me a while to see the strings.

The first thing we wanted to do was visit the REAL LIFE DRAGON, who lives under Sleeping Beauty Castle!

Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boyoboyoboy!

I guess by the look of this sign, the dragon is supposed to be Maleficent in her dragon form.

Makes sense.

She. Is. AMAZING.
She sleeps a lot…

But occasionally she wakes up…

And she ain’t happy about being chained down.

That was so cool! I saw the pics and thought so... but then the video!
She moves!!!! That's just awesome. Why doesn't every park have this???

I love this store because it’s set inside the seven dwarf’s cottage and its adorrrrable.

So this is where you want to live some day, huh?

While we were here we thought we may as well ride Blanche Neige et les Sept Nains.
AKA Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

I find it weird that there are so many signs in English, but every now and then there's French.

THIS monstrosity is the same though, this always terrified me as a kid.
Not any more though, I am an adult now.

:lmao: I played that about 5 times in a row. And was laughing harder each time!

It also contains some scary scenes that childhood Katie was terrified of.
Again, not adult Katie, no sir.

:rotfl: And if I thought the first vid was funny.... I just about died with this one!
And yes, I played it about six times then told myself I had to stop.

But I'll probably play it again, later. You kill me!!

I love the loading area, it looks like the rooftops of London with smoking chimneys and everything. :lovestruc

Love that!

Unfortunately it started POURING rain while we were in line, so we had to prepare…

22638727673_85b7c75a8c_b.jpg

 Although I like the woman photobombing you too!

I get that! I do!

The wait was worth it though. I enjoyed walking back along the tracks and through the mine!

Cool! You can actually take some time to look!

You know your Disney addiction is out of hand when you’re excited about a ride breaking down

we went next door to visit the Haunted Mansion, aka, Phantom Manor!

Phantom Manor? Look Paris, either call it Manoir Fantôme, or Haunted Mansion, okay?

so the CM announced a guest’s birthday, and THIS ensued….!!

:) and...

Did you hear the CM’s evil laugh to try to bring the cheery birthday mood back down the a Haunted Mansion mood?!

... yes I did! That was great!

On our way out we found these amusing gravestones.

22897869529_3edc66c136_b.jpg

That’s one for the adults I guess

I didn't notice the "Happier" at first so I was like "Er... Katie. You have a dirty mind."
But then I realized you were right! (Although you may have a dirty mind too. Wouldn't want to sell you short or anything.)

She looks like she's waiting to murder someone.

although Dad said that the service was pretty bad, the CMs were stood around talking rather than serving people.

I hate that. "Hello! Customer!"

Ketchup? That's it? Where's the rest of the condiments?!?!?

We rode a second time and we stopped next to a sweeeeet target.

WINNER.

Well, sweet for one of you anyway.

This is an incredible part of DLP. The dragon looks so lifelike and I love how she moves too.

She gets more "ferocious" than that too! She can get quite angry :scared:

Cool!!! I had to be evacuated off of Kali River Rapids once. It was like 13 years ago, but it wasn't too much "fun" because we were stuck on one of the hills leading to a drop. So we had to go down a big ladder - it was...interesting:rotfl:

Oh cool! I wonder if you ever have to walk in the water, or if they can always get you to a platform to evacuate?

DLP looks amazing!

It is!!!! :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

I am just in awe of DLP. I kept bugging my husband last night. "Look at this!" "Oh my god, look at this!" He says I'm obsessed. Pffft. It is just so beautiful there!

Well, if you are, DLP is a great thing to be obsessed with :thumbsup2:goodvibes

It would be like a private behind-the-scenes tour!! Awesome!

EXACTLY. And I've never done a tour before either, so I found it interesting  UGH I'm so lame.

This is brilliant! Hilarious!

I know :rotfl2: I was trying to remember whether anything at WDW's Haunted Mansion is... of similar humour..?! It's not really the kind of joke I'd expect to see in any Disney park to be honest

I was excited to look "behind the scenes" at Big Thunder Mountain :goodvibes the ride actually has a tunnel that is completely underwater and is pitch black, but thankfully we didn't have to walk through there, that might have been a bit less fun and a bit more scary
Haha, a few people have commented on the baked beans!!! They're very normal to me, they're part of a traditional English breakfast :thumbsup2

love your report so far!

Thank you!!! I'm so glad :goodvibes

Wow that sure looked like a wet day. I do love the Phantom Manor there though. I think I dragged my family on it far more times than they would have liked. At least you got to go on some rides with little wait...and being evacuated is pretty cool too!

Phantom Manor is really cool at DLP! The bit where you go "outside" and into the Wild West scene is really unique :goodvibes

GIIIRRRRRLLLL! I miss you! That is abso fine though, read at your own pace please!!! Sometimes real life needs to take priority over vicarious Disney trip living

(Okay I have to say that this gif really looks like Michelle is saying "Howay!" who knew Michelle was a Geordie?! :rotfl:)

It actually does! :rotfl2: Imagine if she had a little geordie accent it would be the most precious thing EVER.

That is so sad! Stupid weather ruins everything! :sad2:

I know?! I would actually rather ride Splash when it' raining out because I'm soaked already, may as well make the most of it... When I get wet on Splash in Florida the sun is beaming down and frazzles my hair completely...

OMG is this an actual quote from something?! What is this??! She is me.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! MYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!

This is just too cute! :lovestruc :lovestruc

(Omg, I am so dramatic :lmao:)

I love Ray!! That film is so under represented!

I love you for loving Ray!! His accent and the things he says are just hilarious, and his face is adorable!!!

Hey how did you get that video of me first thing in the morning?!

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

They be like:

tumblr_lrbyihXo6X1qjt9p1o10_250.gif

Okay I am going to try and keep up this time and not be a horribly inept DISer!

We've all been bad Disers girl! No worries! :simba: I miss your posts though, I hope come back and update us soon, you must have a preliminary ADR list by now?! :goodvibes

Extra sausage this morning I see.

Which brings me to... the Ketchup. For the sausage? (my first thought) or the eggs?

KETCHUP FOR EVERYTHING.

Hey! No way!
(I too am blessed with the gift of rhyme and scansion and was not aware of this fact.)

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

I was looking at them and.... "OMG. They're floating!"
Took me a while to see the strings.

What strings? It's Disney magic!!!

That was so cool! I saw the pics and thought so... but then the video!
She moves!!!! That's just awesome. Why doesn't every park have this???

Yay you watched my video :rotfl::lovestruc But I KNOW. It's so realistic. My brother was terrified of it as a kid (and let's be serious, I probably was too) :scared1:

So this is where you want to live some day, huh?

Possibly. Although I'd need all seven of those little beds for sure.

:lmao: I played that about 5 times in a row. And was laughing harder each time!

 I think you can hear my Dad shriek (jokingly) in the background too :rotfl2:

:rotfl: And if I thought the first vid was funny.... I just about died with this one!
And yes, I played it about six times then told myself I had to stop.

But I'll probably play it again, later. You kill me!!

:lmao: Well I think you already know that I'm terrified of sharks... So that big whale that jumps out at you Jaws-style is not something I like to see in a Fantasyland ride :sad2:

 Although I like the woman photobombing you too!

"The woman" aka my step-mum :rotfl: I don't blame you though, she's a camera dodger!!!!

I didn't notice the "Happier" at first so I was like "Er... Katie. You have a dirty mind."
But then I realized you were right! (Although you may have a dirty mind too. Wouldn't want to sell you short or anything.)

I disguise it well through looking innocent :thumbsup2 :littleangel:

Ketchup? That's it? Where's the rest of the condiments?!?!?

MUSTARD IS THE DEVIL :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

Part 3 – Magique!

We rushed over to the Studios and went straight to seek shelter from the rain at Cinémagique.
And what a great decision that was.

23239575746_4c1ea160fd_b.jpg

Cinémagique is greatness.
It’s a movie on a big screen that contains clips from loads of classic movies. These clips all merge together to create a story, with the help of set recreations and a main actor.
It also contains a live action element, which is a lot of fun.

23265700645_aefe8d5ac0_b.jpg

23239567606_9989e95e2f_b.jpg

This show never fails to make me laugh :goodvibes
It’s a great way to spend a 25-minute break during a busy park day!

After the show it was still raining…

20609827611_96445deacb_o.gif

GAH.

So we went to ride Rock n Roller Coaster, twice! Yay.

22638571103_904466d6c3_b.jpg

22638568333_c703b10a56_c.jpg

23239557356_63b42e0a5f_c.jpg

The rain finally looked like it had subsided, however, we’d set our hearts on seeing another indoor show, which was starting RIGHT NOW.

22637254304_1172b654c3_b.jpg

So we headed over to…

22897704969_64ca64086e_b.jpg

Laaa laaa laaa lalala laaaaaa

ANIMAGIQUE!

This is blacklight and neon themed, and involves a bunch of Disney characters and songs and general merriment.
It’s fun, and I love anything I can clap and sing to.
But I do prefer Cinémagique.

It’s very difficult to get a photo of.
But here you can kinda see King Louie, Donald, Baloo, Mickey and Rafiki.

22637081374_ed815468c8_b.jpg

We clapped.
We sang.
We were covered in bubbles.
Because it wouldn’t be a Disney trip if you don’t get bubbled at least once.

Of course, after the show it was raining again, so we spent some time in the Animation Building.
(Omg this trip to Disneyland was really getting in the way of my WDW-lost-attractions grieving process.)

22969815690_3843c2c49c_c.jpg

23265672855_73de732947_b.jpg

23265648385_def77e6eec_b.jpg

I sat down at the Animateurs table (seen above) like the infant that I am. They have zoetropes there (these things)

tumblr_mj1lq23bLn1s6qc3go1_500.gif

So the CM gave me a long, thin piece of paper to do some animation drawings!
It did not turn out good.
My animation career ended as fast as it began.

I decided to go back to my old career.
(I look at pretty Disney things for a living.)

23265640445_f92a693bbe_b.jpg

Good news! They still have the drawing class here in Disneyland Paris!
None of the fam were bothered about doing it though (THEY’RE CRAZY).
But that’s ok, I just did it twice at Walt Disney World last year, and I’m happy enough just knowing it’s still here in Paris!

22897690269_cb37b034cb_b.jpg

Dad and I decided to try out this voice actor thing. We basically had to say the lines for the clip in Beauty and the Beast where Belle is tending to Beast’s wounds..

Beast: Aaargh! That hurts!
Belle: If you'd hold still, it wouldn't hurt as much!
Beast: Well if you hadn't have run away, this wouldn't have happened.
Belle: If you hadn't frightened me, I wouldn't have run away!

Etc etc.

Well we did a big dramatic performance and got really into it.
But when we played the video clip with our voice recording, it had TOTALLY failed, and all that came out of Belle and Beast's mouths were Iago-from-Aladdin-style squawking noises...!
It was so random and completely hilarious.
I was like, “Wow I knew I sounded weird on tape but THIS is something else.”

:lmao:

Voice actor career: Failed.

Back to looking at pretty things.

(This dwarf picture is me after Disney.)

22637203704_5953abc401_c.jpg

I love concept art, I find it funny to think about “what if”.

22871506477_894a2bae0a_b.jpg

22969785240_0332b5475f_b.jpg

OK guys. The rain has stopped.
GO GO GO!

We headed over to Ratatouille of course, but it had broken down. BOO.
So we decided to go to Tower of Terror.

We got to watch the original preshow video that’s in English this time :thumbsup2
But while watching the video, the SAME Cast Member who scared me last time, scared me AGAIN!!!
Just like last time, he came up behind me, and whispered in my ear,
“It’s waiting for you…”

AGAIN!!!

Thankfully I didn’t make a noise this time, but I definitely jumped!

He also appeared up in the boiler room to load people into the elevators.
OMG, he was absolutely brilliant.
He kept slightly opening the emergency exit door to peer around it, then jumping back in terror and slamming it shut :rotfl2:
He was doing magic for us and all sorts, GAH I just loved him so much.
I really wanted a photo with him but he disappeared before I could.
Sadness.
I wonder where he went...
(Obv the Twilight Zone.)

So glad the rain finally stopped for you. It sounds like you made the best of your time regardless of the rain though. Your RNR pictures are too funny! Your brother looks like he really, really enjoyed the ride.

Part 4 – Disney Dreams AND bread pudding = Happiness

After riding Tower of Terror we made our way out of the park.

It was about 4:45pm so we decided to have a shop around and a drink in the sports bar before getting an early-ish dinner. We wanted to enjoy bread pudding AND Disney Dreams today!

First we went into World of Disney.

22637170314_469868561e_b.jpg

Dad bought me this awesome Tangled jewelry hanger!

22871480987_762b947905_c.jpg

I love it, here’s what it looks like all set up:

23421554676_34d65d1a35_c.jpg

Jamie thinks it’s creepy.
I respectfully disagree.

im-right-youre-wrong_1370.gif

It was nice and surprisingly quiet in World of Disney so we shopped around for a while before heading to the sports bar for a drink.

23239463146_f67b274ef9_b.jpg

I don’t often drink beer, but I’m very partial to these.

23239452366_c714a542ba_c.jpg

Yum!
Soon we went back to Planet Hollywood, for the second night in a row
THE BREAD PUDDING PEOPLE.

Here I'll mention our server Matt who was amazing.
In every way.
He was really attentive, he was hilarious, and he’s a rugby player (ladies :thumbsup2)
We chatted to him for ages. He's from England, and moved to the Paris area for rugby.
It actually turned out that before he moved here, he lived literally down the road from us in our home-town!!!!
Absolutely craziness.
He moved here three years ago and at first he barely spoke any french (it wasn’t even required for his Planet Hollywood job!) but now he was basically fluent, how cool!
We loved him.

Anyway, today I had a cheeseburger, and it was much better than my spaghetti bolognaise from yesterday.

22969728490_a042b12ecd_b.jpg

Then finally, what we’d all been waiting for…

(Drum roll please.)

22871441277_57bd17483b_b.jpg

WHITE CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING.

I’m such a huge bread pudding fan, thanks entirely to my many Disney trips.
This one is so delicious. They’ve sold it for YEARS, it’s obviously very popular.

I bet you’d never think you’d hear a Disney fanatic suggesting Planet Hollywood, but I recommend this so much!
You can totally go in and just order dessert.
As I’ve said before, the food at DLP is a bit hit-and-miss (and many table service restaurants weren’t even open in the evening during our stay!), so this is something I guarantee you’ll be impressed by!

(Although maybe I’m just a dessert-addict.)

We finished eating at 7:45pm, so we had plenty of time to go grab a spot for the fireworks at 9pm.

After our super rainy day, we were pleasantly surprised to see some blue skies!!

22637132064_af4e55667f_b.jpg

On our way back towards the hotel, James goes,
“LOOK! IT’S YOUR FRIEND!”
And sure enough, my Tower of Terror bellhop friend was walking by off in the distance!!!
You, know, the guy who had scared me two days in a row
I love that guy. He was far away, I wish I could’ve said hello :goodvibes

Dad and James went up to the room to drop our shopping off, and Hannah and I wandered around admiring the beauty of the Disneyland sunset.

22638429103_655a91a61f_b.jpg

22871425467_8b858e4d64_b.jpg

I found this amazing poster in the tunnels beneath the hotel :lovestruc
This MIGHT be in the poster art set that I MIGHT buy later tonight… :thumbsup2

22969705150_a2d7e4119c_c.jpg

:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

Dad and James came back down and we headed into the park!

22638418063_034d6226b8_b.jpg

23265538045_022376669b_b.jpg

22897583199_68eaf71d9e_b.jpg

22871403507_413323225f_c.jpg

It was only about 8:10pm so we had time to ride Big Thunder Mountain before the fireworks! YAY.

Dad and Hannah always hold on for dear life, so James and I challenged them to ride with their hands in the air…
This is the best they could do…

23457845955_39c6a50015_b.jpg

:rotfl2:

We walked back to the hub and found this PERFECT spot for Dreams!
The gap in the trees made for perfect firework viewing!!

22871399967_50ec1b874f_b.jpg

There was a little garden in front of us so we were up against the rails, so I didn’t have to worry about any giants or kids-on-shoulders blocking my view :goodvibes

22897573899_e5d70ab52d_c.jpg

Since we had an important dinner reservation tomorrow night, this was the last time we’d be seeing Dreams!
That also means this is my last opportunity to pressurise YOU into watching these videos!!!! :thumbsup2
If you haven’t already watched them…
WATCH THEM!

22637087234_6894744db1_b.jpg

23239376466_f9bc1b421f_b.jpg

OBSESSED. WITH. THIS.

Goodbye Disney Dreams!
You’ve been incredible!!!
:wave2:

After the show I went to the hotel lobby to ask about stamps for Bill and Mandy’s postcards, and they sent me to the shop upstairs.
Turns out the shop had run out too! They sent me to the train station (not the railroad attraction, the actual train station).
What a wild goose chase!

It was too late to go out there tonight, but we did all stop to have a look around the shop!
The shop is down this cute corridor.

22637061254_5e41fe7eac_b.jpg

And has cute window displays.

22897555719_c0ddd6401d_b.jpg

It’s just general cuteness..

22897550099_2433220974_b.jpg

As I alluded to earlier, I bought my second poster art set!!!!
Now I have them from Walt Disney World AND Disneyland Paris :goodvibes

22638362053_c0796807a8_c.jpg

I really like the castle one, the Peter Pan one, and the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour one.

22637045474_a548f32a1c_c.jpg

I don’t even have any of my posters up yet because I’m having trouble finding the right size frames for a reasonable price (since I need so many!)
But they’re being kept nice and safe until I do.

We got back to the room at around 9:45pm. I showered all of the rain water out of my hair and wrote Bill and Mandy’s postcards, before completely passing out!

Next up: Our last full day!

Part 1 – Studios and sandwiches

This morning we had a well-deserved lie-in!
We didn’t get up until 9:30am, and went down to breakfast at 10:15am.

We sat in this room today:

22780168253_05455bb52e_c.jpg

Unfortunately the service was lacking a little today.
There were no eggs, bacon OR baked beans left.
There were loads of people waiting around. There was no sign of any servers for ages.
Do the CMs not understand how important bacon is?!??!?!?!

mrnzJ4x.gif

After rioting for a while we finally got our breakfast :thumbsup2

We headed to the studios at around 10:45am. It was looking gloomy out, but thankfully there was no rain.

23298860482_db337c8c4a_b.jpg

22778960124_9c24b6d9de_b.jpg

We rushed over to Moteurs Action, which was starting at 11:15am. We got there at 11:05am but they had already closed the line… BOO!

So we went to Rock n Roller Coaster instead.
The line was pretty long compared to the previous days, but it still only took around 15-20 minutes.

Hidden Mickey!

22778956874_79cb6be88d_b.jpg

As we exited the ride, a very random event occurred.

22778955464_6ccb3879cc_b.jpg

Yes, Mr and Mrs Incredible came out on segways, twirled around a bit, then left.

:confused3

I don’t even know you guys.

Next we went to do the Backlot Tour again! :lovestruc Because my family loves me THAT much.

23407321825_d8bac6d6b6_b.jpg

23111540720_19138188be_b.jpg

23111535710_0d74a7471e_b.jpg

YAY.

It’s so weird to think that the next time I go on the backlot tour will be whenever I next make it to DLP. :sad2:
I think it’s so unique and interesting, they should never have gotten rid of it in Florida.
Plus, I MISS MY BELOVED COSTUME BUILDING :sad::sad:

But I couldn’t be sad for too long.
Because soon we were on our way back to Ratatouille!

22778929474_06d9e93807_b.jpg

We decided to do single rider this time, which was great.
We walked straight on, past the hour+ line!
The ratmobiles are two rows of three seats, so Hannah and I ended up in the same car, I was sat behind her :goodvibes
We waved goodbye to James as he left the nest.

23039326539_736b3bb0ea_b.jpg

Here are the videos again, since I've been posting all of them at once.

Such a great ride! I’m in love.

22778923814_c4d1ed340d_b.jpg

It was 12:30pm when we left Ratatouille, so we had plenty of time to get some lunch before getting back to the next showing of Moteurs Action at 2:15pm.

We’d been a bit disappointed by the selection of lunch items in the parks, so since we had some free time, I decided I would release my inner Dis-er, and march everybody right out of the Studios, and into the Disney Village.

Nope, not the Rainforest Café. Keep marching.

23381126426_86cb436d16_b.jpg

Always trust a Dis-er people!!!

HERE’S where we’re getting lunch today!!!

22778916004_aff0e9f04a_b.jpg

party:

I’ve only ever eaten at the Downtown Disney (/Disney Springs) Earl of Sandwich, but I knew this was here in the Village, and thought it was worth checking out!
The one in Orlando is SO good.
I was excited!

22778912614_ba542afd16_b.jpg

I chose the turkey club, James picked chipotle chicken and Dad and Hannah shared a Caprese.

23324727461_edf5cf0fbf_c.jpg

OMG.
Everybody LOVED it!!!
The sandwiches were so fresh and warm and tasty and amazing.

23298798732_59ffe697e4_b.jpg

It was so much better than the food in the park.
We decided to definitely come back tomorrow before we hit the road!

This is the view to the right as you exit the restaurant.
The “Characters in Flight” balloon at DLP is called Panoramagique.
My friends and I went up in the balloon in December 2013, it was great! We had a blast, although my legs wobbled a bit.

23381109766_de4891e44d_b.jpg

And behind the balloon, you can see Disney’s Sequoia Lodge, which is where we stayed that year.

23381106036_093cc48d2e_b.jpg

I really like that resort, especially at Christmas time. There’s a rustic bar and lounge area with Christmas trees and fairy lights and a huge fireplace in the middle, which is great to come back to when it’s FREEZING out.

You can get some amazing cheap deals at the Sequoia Lodge too, especially if you’re packing four of you into a room and splitting the cost like we did :thumbsup2
It’s one of those places that is MUCH nicer in person than in photos.
I would definitely stay there again!

ANYWAY.

We decided to chill and wander through the shops in the Village for a bit.

First up was the Lego store (duhh).

22780093613_4fd6d984fb_b.jpg

23039284689_6a7be95a7f_b.jpg

Nailed it.

22778888894_0f6f92aed3_b.jpg

I decided to make myself out of Lego, but there were no female upper-bodies.
I mean, there were police uniforms, builder costumes, suit and tie, etc.
But I don’t wear any of those things.
I just wanted a flowery top or something.

After some digging, I found the ONLY girls upper-body.
It was so outrageous I just decided to rock it, and gave myself a suitable bottom-half to go with my new outfit.

Here I am.

23381093896_b70e889897_c.jpg

:sad2:

Moving on!

After some Lego fun we walked through to this clothing store, which is really cool, I like it a lot.

23381087646_28cb339f6f_b.jpg

They sell all sorts of clothes, accessories, jewellery, and even some home ware.
Sadly I didn’t buy anything though.

We noticed it was 1:30pm, so we walked back to the Studios to be sure to get into the 2:15pm showing of Moteurs Action.

Time to be moving along!

On our way through the Studios we grabbed some FPs for Tower of Terror.
They were for 2:50pm – 3:20pm, which worked out great!

Thankfully, we made it into the car show this time!

22780075153_9a02f32b14_b.jpg

This is actually the original show. Disneyland Paris “gave” it to Walt Disney World as part of the Happiest Celebration on Earth festival.

We got a great spot, second row from the back right in the centre, we had a really good view.

23298766852_76a60d9dce_b.jpg

23407241125_8d6045ebf7_b.jpg

23381071476_86be7e32fa_b.jpg

22780057233_e73a31fcaf_b.jpg

Fun stuff!
I like seeing this show now and again.
It’s fun seeing it with people who don’t know the secrets about the cars.

After the show we went over to use our Tower of Terror fastpasses but the ride was down! Boo.

In light of the announcements about the new Toy Story Land coming to Hollywood Studios, I wanted to have a quick look in this park’s Toy Story Playland.

23111453450_11d9d5a554_b.jpg

I absolutely love the theming here, I’m a big Toy Story fan.
But honestly I think they could’ve done a lot better with this area.
I get that it’s primarily a kid’s area, but just one bigger attraction would’ve been good.
I guess they have this RC attraction, kinda like those old Pirate Ship rides that swing you from side-to-side, but I’ve never found them very exciting.

22778848154_8ab8b2412c_b.jpg

I do hope that Hollywood Studios’ Slinky ride is better than this one.
It just goes round in a circle a few times at about 2mph

23407218825_da0fd976f1_b.jpg

Still, the area is cute.

My Dad is pretty afraid of heights, so we were trying to convince him to go on this Green Army Man Parachute ride.
Because we are cruel, cruel children.
But as we were standing there deliberating, the ride broke down! Everyone was just hanging there for ages, what a nightmare!

23111439770_3955b8598e_b.jpg

Dad “NOPE”-ed right outta there.

We headed back past Tower of Terror but it was still down :sad2:
Sadness.

We decided to head over to Disneyland park, but not before getting a picture with Walt and Mickey.

23111436630_0b25a52ed4_c.jpg

Nailed it… Again!

:rotfl2:

Later Studios!

Part 2 – I love Storybook Canal Boats

Of course, as soon as we entered Disneyland park, the heavens opened up once again.
We walked down Main Street through the Liberty Arcade for shelter, which is a pretty place to be.

23039230969_321978cd7b_b.jpg

We decided to get a drink over on the other side of Main Street, and wait for the rain to die down.

We ran across and into the Gibson Girl ice cream parlour.
(The ice cream they sell is Ben and Jerry’s :lovestruc)

23298720032_39e6fb91f8_c.jpg

There wasn’t anywhere to sit down, so we nipped next door to the Cable Car Bake Shop!

23381030106_ecee2f4b45_b.jpg

Of course I got my beloved, disgusting hot chocolate :crazy2::lovestruc:laughing:
What a roller coaster of emotions.

23039218759_2a8ffb4b25_c.jpg

SO. CHOCOLATEY.

Our plan proved successful, because by the time we’d finished our drinks it had stopped raining :goodvibes
So we headed through to Fantasyland to ride Le Pays des Contes de Fées, aka, the Storybook Canal Boats!

23324629141_243c993fc0_b.jpg

23407180695_d8f6ba7d63_b.jpg

I really like this attraction, the details on the miniatures are really good.

23407176645_03f651c743_b.jpg

Unlike the Disneyland (California) Canal Boats, there’s no CM guide to talk you through everyhing. In DLP, it’s just a nice quiet, relaxing boat ride :goodvibes

23039201539_8dc75eed32_b.jpg

23407167325_8455704b1d_b.jpg

23111373790_99687d21f6_b.jpg

22778633214_542756d6dc_b.jpg

Also a fun difference to the DLR version, is that here in DLP you go through the Cave of Wonders from Aladdin instead of Monstro the whale!

If you fancy watching it, just click settings and turn off that annoying annotation.)

YAY.

Since we were in the area, we went next door to ride Casey Junior – The Little Circus Train!

22779949913_9eaeaa4c85_b.jpg

I know this is an actual infants ride, but I love the song “Casey Junior” that plays because it reminds me of the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show :goodvibes

James and I sat in the very back, which actually faces backwards, and it was quite intense!!!
We didn’t feel very secure with the lap-bar, and it took some pretty abrupt turns that we couldn’t anticipate, which made it a fun ride!

Ridiculous.

Next we walked around to Discoveryland to ride Buzz…
I think I've got my family hooked!

(Notice the joystick and my strategic camera angle to make it seem like I won by a lot more than I actually did…)

JAMES YOU SUCK.

23407120525_157cd4f8bb_b.jpg

Afterwards we used our daily hotel fastpasses at Big Thunder! Of course.

23407117725_6c8969aa74_b.jpg

I would not let this guy cut my hair.

23039144349_0fa7256b0a_b.jpg

Then, Dad and I left the park to go out to the train station to pick up some stamps for my postcards!
Meanwhile, Hannah and James went to ride that awful Indiana Jones roller coaster again.

(They said they saw a rat in Adventureland eating some old pizza on the ground! EW!)

Dad and I stopped to check out this statue on the way.
I’ve never paid much attention to it, so I always just thought it was Mickey’s hand holding the wand, but in fact there are loads of details on it that I’ve never noticed before!

We finally picked up my stamps and headed back to the hotel, where we were meeting the others for a very special meal!

Part 3 – Inventions!

It was nearing 6pm now, so we headed upstairs to the Main Street Lounge to grab a drink before our 6:30pm dinner reservation.

22779910833_71c16c1323_b.jpg

Hurry upppp 6 o’clockkkk.
I was excited.
Soon enough we were checking in for dinner at Inventions!

23380923466_29882823a9_b.jpg

OMG you guys.
If you’re going to Disneyland Paris,
BOOK THIS RESTAURANT.

The food is really good, there’s loads to choose from.

But the main reason is the characters!
They were AMAZING!
These were some of the best character interactions I’ve EVER had.
I loved that they make just as much of a fuss over a table of four adults as they do with all the kids.
The characters came around super fast, it felt like there was one at our table every five minutes.
And they all spent a significant amount of time playing around with us, rather than just saying hello and posing for photos.
It also seemed like most, if not all, of the characters were…
English:thumbsup2
You can just tell from the way they react to everything you say.

It was SO good.

But let’s get to it.

As soon as we sat down, before we’d even ordered any drinks, Chip came to say hello!
He was absolutely adorable, apparently he loves to play with hair.
He messed up Hannah’s hair AND James’ hair!

23111307530_4b774c6137_b.jpg

23324519881_7850d58de6_b.jpg

Sadly (or thankfully) he was ushered off before he got to my hair!
I let out a “phew!” of relief, but I was assured he’d be back soon

Just a couple of minutes later, while we were still waiting to order drinks, Goofy came to see us!
OMG, Goofy LOVED me!
He asked me to kiss his nose and made this adorable face :lovestruc

23380908236_2460724ed7_b.jpg

Then he sign-languaged “I [heart] you” to me!

GAH he knows how to steal a girl’s heart.

Once he’d left we managed to order our drinks, and we headed up to the buffet.
OMG, it is spectacular.
There is so much food, and it’s all presented so beautifully!

There’s a seafood section:

Another seafood section:

22778688814_2fe635baef_b.jpg

Some meats, pastas, pizzas, and vegetables (but it was not limited to this one area, this is the only one I got a clear shot of):

22778678884_d373a211df_b.jpg

And desserts!
(Again, there’s much more than what’s seen in this photo!)

23324489011_917e43b509_b.jpg

Wowee.
I started off small, with some pasta salad and crayfish/crawfish (I've no idea what the difference is )

23324484661_bf0a60e1f5_b.jpg

Upon our return from the buffet, Hannah and I decided to switch seats, because my seat was kinda tucked away from the character route, so now I had a better chance of a good interaction!
What a great decision this was.

I finished up my plate, and went right back up to the buffet, and when I returned, Tigger was right there at our table! I power-walked back and told Tigger I was sorry, and that obviously he was much more important to me than food!
He loved this, and pulled me in for a big bouncy hug!

22778617704_687c772505_b.jpg

Once Tigger left, I got stuck in to my second plate!
Here’s what I had.
There’s salmon, a beef medallion, spaghetti, meatballs, and some seafood pasta.
It was all really tasty!

23111264970_63d98af3a4_b.jpg

During this plate, Pluto came by!

23380865136_97c5e1875a_b.jpg

23111212760_f2ef0e4b8a_b.jpg

And Chip came back! Yay!

23406981655_9c89cf97d9_b.jpg

And of course, he was up to his usual mischief.

23324470361_75978fd55e_b.jpg

He was hilarious.

Once I’d finished eating, I went to get some chocolate cake, and one of my favourite desserts ever…
A NUTELLA CREPE.

22779847903_927b98e304_b.jpg

Just when I thought this meal couldn’t get any better, the big man himself shows up!

MICKEY!!!

He gave James a huge hug…

23039002539_e9b61ee0c1_b.jpg

…But as he pulled away, he knocked James’ brand new iPhone 6 right off the table!!
Luckily, James reached out and caught it ninja-style!!!

Action shot:

23324414931_97b5c0b0a8_b.jpg

OMG, Mickey was besides himself with anxiety!!!!!

The thought of breaking James’ phone almost gave him a heart attack, he “apologised” and fussed over James, then he had to take a moment to lean on a nearby pillar and mop his brow while he composed himself!!
It was too funny.

22778645624_84a249f012_b.jpg

Of course, I got some hugs in too :goodvibes

23380799716_3ab3cdce8c_b.jpg

23324456341_3fefd4137b_b.jpg

Then came my favourite interaction of the night…

DALE!!!

Until today I was never very attached to Chip and Dale. I liked them fine, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to meet them, or buy any merch of them.
Well tonight really turned that around, and now I’m in love with them!

Dale was so cheeky and adorable, and just like Chip, he loved to play with our hair!
He gave me a huge hug, and I asked him if he’d been stealing food from the buffet, to which he covered his eyes like a naughty child.

He started to mess up my hair, and I said,
“Dale! My hair is the same colour as your fur! Maybe you could grow yours to this length? You’d look so pretty!”

WELL.

He LOVED this idea.

He smoothed out my hair that he had messed up, and started holding it up to his face and striking poses!!!!!

GAH I nearly died. It was hilarious.

He also put it over his nose and made it look like a moustache :rotfl:

23324406661_a25325ea80_b.jpg

Then he PLAITED (/BRAIDED) IT, like a true professional!

23298577722_e403eda214_c.jpg

I told him he did such a beautiful job, and that I’d keep it in all night.

UGH we were like best friends, I couldn’t get enough of him! He gave me another huge hug before he left.

23407010885_350c8f25b3_b.jpg

I was sad that Dale had to leave us, but I couldn’t be sad for too long, because Eeyore was right on his tail! (I’m so punny.)

Eeyore was also amazingly cute. When he was walking over to our table, he stopped, pointed at me, and started stomping his feet in excitement!

I got up to give him a hug, and I told him I was happy to see him, and that I hoped he was feeling happy today!

23111180160_c86473d7f9_b.jpg

He then pointed at his nose, so I gave him a kiss, and I think that made him feel a bit happier :goodvibes

23324391711_216c2cee20_b.jpg

James also got up to give him a proper hug, because he just looks so sad!!!

23324401731_a96bdfce7c_b.jpg

I think we cheered him up :goodvibes

As we were settling the bill, Mickey came back around!!
Oh my goodness!
After breakfast at Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace where I waited about an hour and a half to meet FOUR characters, I was amazed at the efficiency of these guys!
I don’t understand how they spent more time with everybody, AND came around more quickly?!

I had one last hug with Mickey before we left the restaurant, and as we were getting up to leave he blew me some kisses!!!

22778571014_16522c3b23_b.jpg

YOU GUYS. I cannot say enough good things about this meal.
It was amazing.
It’s my second favourite thing about this trip, after the firework show.

The only negative I have isn’t even a fault of the restaurant itself.
But loose children are a bit of a problem.
Occasionally we’d see a child run up to a table and try to get the character’s attention.
Some of them didn’t have parents with them so they really didn’t know any better (although – keep your children at your table???)
But some actually had parents nearby encouraging the kid to keep prodding Mickey until he gives you attention.
It is truly bizarre.
I don’t know why you would interrupt someone else’s character time like that?
Still, I only saw this happen three or four times at the tables nearby, and only one kid did it while Mickey was with us.
The characters are great about it though, they ignore the kid for a couple of minutes, but if they’re persistent they’ll turn around and give the child the finger.
No, not that finger.
The index finger, to gesture at the child to “wait one minute” :thumbsup2
We also saw a waiter intervene nicely with one kid.

But considering that’s the only negative point I have, and it’s not even anything to do with the restaurant itself, Inventions gets very high marks from me!!!

It was the PERFECT way to end our trip.

My best friend has just booked a trip to Disneyland Paris with her boyfriend and I’ve told them to live out my perfect evening for me:

· Ride Ratatouille
· Get an early dinner at Inventions
· Watch Disney Dreams

How perfect would that be.
My top 3 highlights
consecutively. :lovestruc

We didn’t see Disney Dreams tonight, but that’s OK because we’d seen it the first three nights.

We had a quick look in the hotel shop.
I found some really beautiful and soft Lady and the Tramp pyjama bed shorts and a sweater.
I was ready to buy them, but then I noticed the price…
E95 for the shorts!!!!
E119 for the sweater!!!

Errrrm, bye Felicia!

23111168660_15a3e21e4a_b.jpg

They were by Paul and Joe Sister, which I guess is some posh make that I’ve never heard of.

Oh well.

Dad bought me this adorable shirt that I love.

23368888761_a50cf81a4a_c.jpg

Thanks Pops! :lovestruc

Then we went back to the room and packed up.

We’re going home tomorrow.

BOO!!!
