Just booked this for the night before our VGC stay. Any pictures or reviews? I can't find much info anywhere except that it is 2BR 2.5Bath in the Frontier tower

It is a corner room set up. If I remember right, it has a king room off the living room, then a second bedroom with 2 queens. It has a balcony, which wraps around the 2 room set up.

Is that the one that is at the hallway in the Frontier Tower and has an entrance with two doors on either side after you enter. One door leads to a King room with a full bathroom and the other has a half bath, then the wet bar that leads into the dining/living area and the after that is another bedroom with a full ensuite bath?

Yes, and you could add a third room off the left side (double queen) to make a three room suite.

If your wanting a view this is the room. It gives you access to a balcony three different places....off the king bedroom looking at the pool, off the living room looking towards DTD and off the room across the hall with a view of DCA. The only down side is its a hassle if your staying club.

Thanks yall! When we booked they said that since it was technically a signature suite it would come with club level access. I was wondering whether it is decorated like a normal room or differently. But I am glad to know that the views are nice! We are staying in a 1 BR villa at the grand Californian after, so hopefully we luck out on views there too!

It has great views. I don't know that I would agree with it being a signature suite though. Club level access can be a pain as it is in a different building. When we opt for the Frontier tower, we usually try to remember to stop at the lounge on the way back to the room to grab snacks and movies.

I must be confused because the room I was thinking you were talking about isn't a signature suite and while you can add club services it's an additional cost. Also, you can't really be gauarenteed the location of the suites. The one I was thinking is just a three room suite on the top floor of frontier tower on the end. I thought all the signature suites were in Adventure. Sorry I was confused.

Not related to your question, but some tips for your VGC stay:
  • Make a view request (in advance) with DVC Member Services, many tips in the VGC superthread
  • Check in early. While most of your party sleeps, one person can walk over to GCH -- I would go at 6AM
  • Bell Services should be able to transfer your luggage
  • Your villa will likely not be ready until 4PM
  • Welcome Home

Well I was told this on Disney chat- we all know how reliable that is :). They said the ambassador and blue sky suite are the only signatures not in the adventure tower. Hopefully they didn't speak incorrectly.

Thank you! We are thrilled to be staying at VGC. That post is so helpful. I will be scouring for room recommendations closer to time!

No,you're probably correct, it was me thinking of the wrong room. The one I assumed you were talking about was just a regular 2/3 bedroom suite on the corner top of Fronteir- I don't think it was called "Ambassador". We have stayed twice in the room I was talking about and as nice as it was its my least favorite because it's inconvenient to go to the club, but for one night you'll be fine. I think we are talking about two different suites :)

It USED to be called an Ambassador suite, similar to the Wrather/Blue Sky suite, which no longer exists. It is now a 2/3 suite. And it is still "the odd suite" to me.

I hope they didn't sell me a room that doesn't exist!!

Out of curiosity did you call to book a signature suite and that is the one you choose? Or did you ask for a two bedroom and that is what they told you you would be booked in.?

It's just a bit odd because the only exact rooms you can specifically book are the signature suites and I did think they were all in Adventure. For 2 and 3 bedroom suites you can't book an exact room, and they are spread out throughout the property, and while you can add club services it's an additional charge.

But like I said earlier, that's just from my experience.

I called and asked what signature suites where available and they offered me the Ambassador Suite or the Adventureland suite. I didn't think the theme of adventureland would appeal to my three year old, so I went with the Ambassador suite. Then when I couldn't find any info online on the suite I got in chat and asked if it was a signature and came with club level service and they said yes. My confirmation specifically says Ambassador Suite.

We are here and the suite does exist. :)
I filmed a walk though, but here are a few notes for those who interested:
* It is on the second floor of the frontier tower.
* It has 2br, 2.5 bath, a dining room, living room, wet bar with mini fridge, and 2 balconies.
* We did receive signature suite amenities (e ticket access, gift bags, help from VIP team, etc)
Overall I really liked it. My mother just turned 50 and has wanted to stay at the DLH almost her whole life so I am glad we took a day away from GC for a night to make that happen.
