Has anyone had experience with fastpass for Aladdin yet?

I'm hoping to see the show tomorrow Sun 12/13 but I won't be in DCA until noon or a little later. What show time would be available then? Just trying to figure out a schedule ahead of time.

I saw it today. They had 5 shows today. There are 4 scheduled for tomorrow. I got my fastpass just before 3pm and it was for the 5:10 show.

Thanks! I normally like to go to an earlier show and wasn't sure when the FPs would run out with the new system. It sounds like I'll get to see it matter what, but I'm hoping for the 2:05pm show (which will be an hour or two after I arrive, so fingers crossed).

Strange, my family and I just saw Aladdin on Monday and as we were getting into the line, I asked the CM if we needed a FP and he said they weren't starting that until Jan. 10. I thought that seemed a little funny as Aladdin is closing on that date.

Are these fastpasses "disconnected" like the Fantastic/WoC passes? I.e. They don't count against attraction FP totals?

It started December 10th

I would suggest going to get the fast pass as soon as you get into the park. We were there Thursday 12/10 - got there about noon & got a fast pass for the next show which was 2:05. They let folks start lining for the next show as soon as the one is seated & doors are closed. We were there at 1:00 for the 2:05 show & the 4:30 show fast pass tickets were already gone so they were into the 6:00 show passes, The passes could go sooner on a weekend, especially as this is the last weekend for most local passes before block out dates. Not to worry if you do not get a fast pass, show up about 30-45 min or so before the show you want to see. I noticed there were still several seats on the mezzanine for standby - about a third of the section. Not sure how many in orchestra or balcony. The fast passes do not fill the theatre.

Thanks for posting this, I didn't even realize there was a fastpass for the show. Are they being distributed near the theater?

Yes, it's the moveable cart fastpass machines and they are to the left of the theatre entrance.

Yes - go to the end of Hollywood Blvd - Hyperion queue entrance is right there, turn left & go past the street scene photo op & there are cast members with the portable fast pass machines, right across from the Monsters U photo op scene.

The fast pass is new for the last month of this show, because it closes January 10' 2016. So is very popular right now as folks want to see it again before it closes.

Hi everyone! Thought I'd report in.

Thanks to a miraculous combination of me waking up early, no traffic, no issues parking, no bag check line(!), and no queue at the turnstiles, I got here a couple of minutes ago. They currently are distributing FPs for the 2:05 show which is exactly what I wanted!

Also, in a bit a Disney magic, as I proceeded to zoom my way to the ToT FPs (yes Aladdin FPs are disconnected), I was wondering why everyone was stopping to take my picture. I turned around and was surprised by the most Incredible couple ever!

(Sorry, I'm such a newbie poster -- after years of lurking -- that I can't post them posing for my camera as they walked along!)

Now I'm grabbing some lunch (or technically breakfast for me, lol) at Paradise Pier before using up my ToT FP and then it should perfect time to start queuing for the show. All in all, a good start to the day!

Fyi, they switched over to FPs for the 4:30 around 12:30pm. They let the 2:05 FPs start queuing then, too. There was a bit of crowd already waiting on the sidewalk across from the theatre that flooded in, but I don't think it's that crowded. Then again, I'm used to slipping in to the queue ten minutes before the doors open, so waiting an hour-and-half seems bizarre to me. There's also a stand-by entrance, but I'm not sure about the details for that.

Now I'm trying to decide if I want a Mickey bar or pineapple spear to snack for when I do decide to join the queue.

Can someone explain this Aladdin fastpass? Are there different colors for different sections? Or is it just to limit the amount of people per show? I'm used to just showing up and standing line.

Just to limit the number of people, you still pick which level you sit in.

:/ that kindof makes sense for those because there is never more than 2, but with so many showings for Aladdin it is such a hassle. I wanted to meet someone for a particular showing, but the odds of getting the tickets at the right time are bad... and then people are still waiting for a long time....
