Is the lunch/dinner at ARBH a sit down where you select a app, entree and dessert, or is it a buffet? I heard the majority of the selections are seafood dishes, is this true?

If I remember correctly, and they havent changed, it is a combination. The apps, salads are buffet, but you choose an entree, they bring it out, and dessert is also brought out. Dessert is a "variety" plate I guess you could say with maybe 4 different ones on the plate to share. There is a full menu on here if you look under the dining tab. They have othere entrees besides seafood.

That is what I thought, but my wife seems to think it is mostly seafood, which she does not care for.

The appetizer bar does have more seafood compared to some other restaurants but there's quite a bit that's non-seafood as well. My 12yo doesn't like seafood but still finds plenty there. There are also several non-seafood options for the entrees (ordered off the menu; take a look at the menu to see their options). Desserts are served family style and no, there's no seafood on the dessert plate.

Eek, now I'm a bit concerned too. I am a vegetarian with "fishues." I do plan on eating my way around the world, so I don't need a huge meal (after all, I'm going here for my little princess not me). But I hope there's a few things that I can eat. That menu doesn't look too good for me.

I am not big on seafood. I will eat it if I am trying to do something healthier, but would prefer to not have it. I had absolutely no trouble at all finding fantastic food here. The kjottkake was probably my favorite, but I also really liked the beef tips and, surprisingly enough, the salmon. The appetizer bar was wonderful with an assortment of salads, meat, and cheese that varied from everyday stuff you would see in America to some more exotic things to try. The appetizer bar is all you can eat, but then you will each choose your own entree. My daughter was 2 at the time. We were on the dining plan so she was free. I assumed this meant that she would be sharing an entree with me, but they told me that she was welcome to order her own plate free of charge. The desserts were brought out family style. We had a chocolate mousse, an apple cake, and a rice pudding. I had never liked rice pudding until I tried theirs. It was very good. Our waitress asked if we would like more of any of the desserts. Everyone had a different favorite, so she brought out two more plates of each.

Out of the six of us only I had seafood. We loved the food. You will enjoy it.

There are many non-seafood entree dishes and options on the cold salad bar. We've always loved our meal here. It's one of our favorite restaurants!
