Hi fellow food lovers! This past trip marked our family's 8th time to visit WDW. While we've found many places to eat that have become favorites, I wanted to take the opportunity to try almost all NEW places to expand our choices and maybe find some new favorites. I read and re-read and reviewed until I had a plan in place. I asked for DH's input somewhat, but his response tends to be "sure, whatever you think." The trip was a surprise to DS so he didn't have any input in the planning, except his request after our 2013 trip to not use the dining plan "next time" to give us more flexibility. Our older DS, who wouldn't be joining us on this trip, and I are the more adventurous eaters, while younger DS and DH have more basic tastes. We all LOVE to eat though!

I am currently doing a trip report, so I thought it would be easier to post links to the dining portion of that for those who just want to read about the food! Here goes:

Cool- I'll be checking for your reports then!

Will be looking for more reviews.

Thanks! I'll try to update every few days. I'm doing this in conjunction with my trip report so it might take a bit longer.

Glad I could make you happy! While we didn't do any fancy places I thought some people might just like to get feedback on some normal places too.

Joining In- I would like to make some new reservation for November

I hope you can find some inspiration from the new places we tried! We found some new favorites. If you haven't done Food & Wine Festival I would highly recommend it for your Nov. trip.

I have updated our dining reviews for our two days at Disney Springs and our first park day at Epcot.

I decided to include the prices we paid for our meals during this trip since it was our first out of pocket/ non-dining plan trip in forever. For our 8 night stay we would have paid $1484.16 for the three of us. Of course we didn't always get a drink or dessert with meals, but oop afforded us the flexibility to chose what we wanted when we wanted it and not always feel like we had to maximize the plan. Since I had purchased gift cards ahead of time it also didn't feel like we were paying and we were more inclined to order what we wanted, since I had planned to spend as much as the ddp. I won't include tips either since we would have paid for those either way.
