Hey Everybody!!! I am so excited, I just can't wait any longer to start this PTR and start planning in general:banana:

This is a trip DH and I have hoped for, for a long long time. The past 3 trips we took, we thought would be this one, but it didn't work that way. DH and I have tried to conceive for 5 1/2 years. As of March, we're pregnant!!!

We will be taking our little Princess :wizard: for her 1st birthday trip in December 2015. Yes, she is due in December, but with the anxiety of preparing for her debut date, I thought this would help me from going uber crazy :joker:

This PTR will be full of thrills, maybe some chills, and tons of fun!! Feel free to join this wild ride:moped:

So now that I've given the basis of our trip, you may be wondering you all will be partaking in the adventure. Allow me to introduce ourselves:wave2:

My wonderful, amazing, full of life, Disney would not be the same without them, parentals.

DDad:The name is Paul, and he is an astonishing 73 years old. Yup... you read right. Who would think, right? I am truly a daddy's girl and he knows it and loves it! Sometimes I think he likes to rub it in a little too;) He is a retired engineer, and Master Sargent with the Army. He truly loves Disney as much as I do and is probably a lot to blame for my LOVE of Disney.

DMom: The name is Nancy, and she is an astounding 69 years old. Yup, you read right again!! Can I just say, I really hope I get her aging genes:thumbsup2 Moving on... My mom and I have created a totally different relationship since I got married. Growing up, we clashed... BAD!!! Now, not a day goes by without having to talk to her, and we do stuff together ALL the time!! She is a retired finance manager, and loves Disney too; maybe just not as much as DDad and I.

My parents are so special to me. I was born when my parents were 45 and 41. I was the child that was not supposed to be, so I am just as special to my parents as they are to me. They also support me, and make it well known. I may be 28, but that doesn't stop them from making it well known where they stand beside me.

They are so excited about our little miss coming. Sometimes I think they are more excited then DH and I. This will be there 3rd grandchild, but the first time they have been able to enjoy all that comes with grandchildren. I have a brother that is 15 years older than me, but joined the army at 18. The closest he was stationed was 8 hours away, but only for 2 year. Aside from that, they were 10-22 hours away or in Germany until 2 years ago when he retired. He has a now 21 yo daughter and 20 yo son, so you can understand why this grandchild is so much different.

Ok, enough about them.. on with the rest of this crazy brigade!

My amazing, astounding, fisherman, firefighter, would never leave my side husband (DH).

Sorry for the picture overload. I'm a little proud:blush:
DH: His name is Tim, and he is a 32 year old Insurance Agent by day, Firefighter all day, and Fisherman when he gets a couple of free hours. He is also going to be an amazing father, and is beyond himself to have a little princess. From the day we found out we were pregnant, he was hoping for a princess!!:wizard: When we found out she is a she, we shopping, and he picked out her first outfit. I will have to upload a picture, but it says "Who needs a prince? I have daddy". He has been an amazing support system through my pregnancy, and is super protective. His love for disney is growing more and more. His first trip was when he was 5, and he didn't return until 2007, which was also the year he proposed to me. That's right folk, he just solidified my love for Disney!! Over dinner at CRT, instead of dessert, I got this:

Obviously by my face, I had no idea it was coming. Ok, I did get dessert

But seriously?!?!?! after the first dessert, who cares about the second!! I was so excited... I didn't even eat the edible dessert, but they did package it up to take back for later. I think we ended up eating it later in the park:confused3

And then there is me:)

I'm Leanne, a 28 yo confessed Disney addict. Growing up, I went to Disney every 2 years. The tradition stopped when I start college, because I was going year round, but began again in 2007. Ok ok, it was only from 2004 to 2007 that we didn't go, but it seemed like FOR-E-VER!!! Ever since our trip in 2007, we have gone every other year. When we found out I was pregnant, I asked DH if we were going to break tradition. He quickly answered, NOPE!! Yup... he's a keeper:thumbsup2

I went to college to be a Paramedic/RN, but due to changes at our local hospital and never ending cut backs, I went back to school and finished my bachelors in Psychology and Health Science. I am a Promotions Specialist at Liberty University and love my job!! I have never been able to say I love going to work, but I truly love my job and especially the people that I work with.

Coming up next: Who won't be able to meet the mouse?:scratchin:(:worried:

For anyone who happened to subscribe, I apologize for the lack of keeping up with this thread. Life has certainly gotten in the way recently, and doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. After having our house for sale close to 9 months, we finally got a contract. In doing so, we found out there is an encroachment of our septic tanks on the neighbors property, and finding a solution for it, has been on going for 3 weeks now. I know I know, why don't you just move them you ask... well.... easier said than done:headache: Long story short, there was a HUGE screw-up with our county health dept when our house was built 8 years ago (we are the 3rd owner and it was never found before), and what was actually installed was not a part of the 3 approved plans that was provided by the county, even though, the county gave final inspection and approved what was actually installed, and now they want us to install an entirely new septic system rather than just moving a tank:headache::mad:

Anywhoo.. we are currently in the process of moving, and I only have 4 weeks until my due date!!!! As of yesterday, I am 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced!!!!!! Talking about putting a little pep in your step:)

Does anyone have big plans for Thanksgiving? My cousins are in Disney through Wednesday and said the crowds are horrendous!!

Is anyone following?? If so, I have an update to post in the next couple of days:) I've been verrrryyyyy busy the past couple of weeks;)

A quick update to introduce out new little princess!!! Sorry for the overload... I couldn't pick just one:) 11048263_10103971775517502_3208871867577993498_n.jpg 18498_10103818419833522_3871110859834575973_n.jpg 1925278_10103858476963712_5208814433193580628_n.jpg 1937462_10203329987231425_5614076888683191582_n.jpg 10407825_10103793683270792_5782848851189426318_n.jpg 10945039_10103793684687952_8757998027857661898_n.jpg 11026161_10103891055635792_4027963273153489190_n.jpg 11048263_10103971754255112_1598399593160503001_n.jpg 150794_10103977614880372_5319311489635181187_n.jpg 1604364_10103793684398532_3511430394237056063_n.jpg

joining in ! your daughter is gorgeous! love the pics:)

Joining, you baby is sooo cute!

Thanks to both of you so very very much!!! I love her and think she is beautiful, amazing, and the best and most happiest baby ever, but I may be a little partial:-)

I don't know how time has flown by so so quickly, but we are quickly approaching the 180 mark for ADRs. I had basically mapped our entire trip out when DH and I were talking about my 30th birthday next year. I wanted to do a cruise, but now that our little Princess has come along, we don't want to go on a cruise with a 18 month old. I jokingly said, we should go to Disney World! Much to my surprise, he said, that wouldn't be a bad idea!:eek: What? I'm sorry, what did you say?! This is the man who says every two years is perfect because it gives us the opportunity to go other places. Who am I to argue, right?!

I've been doing some looking and calculating, and it will be a greater savings to do an AP. With that, it doesn't matter if we only spend a couple of hours in the park, so we can spread the time out throughout the trip, rather than open to close on the four park days we have.

So... all that to say, my plan is a total wash, and I'm starting from scratch. I'm really happy about the AP though, because we won't have to feel so rushed if the Princess' schedule is off one day and we don't get but a couple of hours at the park.

Following along. We'll be there in December too, along with a Little Princess of our own!

For the two who won't be joining our trip, let me introduce you to Bella and Kiera!!! Bella is the liver and white Springer, and Kiera the tan hound/shepard mix.

Bella is an eight year old English Springer Spaniel and is a true princess and our first baby. She was given as an engagement gift from the family I nannied for for seven years.

Kiera is a five year old hound/shepard mix. We got her slightly accidentally. My niece had started volunteering at the local animal shelter walking dogs and was talking about how they needed more volunteers. I had been wanting a second dog for a while, and thought walking shelter dogs would help ease my want until I could convince DH. In talking to him, he decided to go with me as well. When we got there, one of the volunteers came out with five sister puppies that had been dropped the day before. They were so so cute and playful; definitely not your typical pound puppies. Well, one came over and stayed right at DH's feet the entire time. She was so loving a cuddly and wouldn't leave DH alone. Well, long story short, we brought home that puppy, names her Kiera, and I have been forbidden from volunteering at the animal shelter again hahaha

We oh so love our four legged babies, but unfortunately, cannot take them to Disney. We thought about leaving them at Best Friends, but it would be a long drive for them and just wouldn't be fair. Fear not, we have a great "hotel" for them to stay at while we are away:)

Next month marks 6 months until our trip begins. I am so excited I don’t know where to begin!! With our little princess (LP) getting bigger and developing so much more personality, it is making us so much more excited for the trip.

Southwest FINALLY released prices for December from Richmond to Orlando. Seriously?!?! Who came up with the idea that six months is enough time to plan a trip!! They obviously need a diser on that committee ;)

Hopefully I can convince DMom and DDad to fly. DH and I really want to fly because we don’t know how LP will do in a carseat for 13+ hours. So far she does great, but the longest she has been so far is five hours. We normally leave Thursday night, drive to GA, and finish the drive on Friday morning. Coming home we drive the full way on Saturday but are totally exhausted by the time we make it home. Last year, our 13 hour drive turned into 17 hours because of a horrendous wreck on I4 south of Jacksonville.

Right now we can leave Richmond (which is a two hour drive for us) at 335pm and arrive at MCO at 540pm and come back at 105pm and arrive in Richmond at 255pm. Unfortunately, there is only one non-stop flight a day on Southwest in and out of Richmond so we can’t get an earlier or later flight, but the positive is that it is a non-stop flight and will cost less than $200/person round trip.

Currently we are planning Saturday – Saturday, but may end up doing a Friday – Saturday and stay at a value Friday night then move over to DVC on Saturday. I am trying to weigh if it is worth the cost of 2 rooms for one night to gain an extra day. We shall see how our touring plans start to play out and probably go from there.

Joining in! My name is Keira (almost like your doggy), I used to live in Virginia (Richmond), and we're also Disney freaks who are making a Christmas trip, so I feel like I am meant to follow your PTR :)

Thanks for joining in!! It makes a PTR so much more fun when there are readers and respondants:)
Everyone tells me I spell it wrong:)
Richmond is where DH's family lives. We love it up there, and I would love to move there, but DH loves the country and our small town. My family is also here and his parents.
Ooooohh!! What are your dates?
