This is my very first PTR for my first ever trip to the USA.
I started planning this trip early last year and I have done a lot of research by reading stuff on the DIS. On my trip I will be staying in Anaheim,CA for 9 nights and then spending 6 nights in Nashville,TN

The Dates: September 15th- September 30th 2012

Who: It is a solo trip so just me Jessica I'm 22 years old and have been a Disney fan since i was a kid and ever since i first heard about Disneyland on a travel show as a kid i have always wanted to go there and this year I will finally get to. Besides from going to Disneyland during my trip i will be going on a few tours of Hollywood/Los Angeles as I have always liked watching Movies & TV and been interested in the world of celebrities i have been lucky enough to meet a few celebrities in my life I've met Taylor Swift 3 times,Miley Cyrus 1 time and Lady Antebellum 1 time as well. The 2nd part of my trip will be in Nashville,TN because I'm a big fan of country music.

So far for my trip I have booked/paid for almost everything only things left to pay for is travel insurance,my train ticket between my town and Melbourne (i will be staying in Melbourne the night before my flight since i live about 4 hours away from Melbourne, shuttle to the airport ticket and a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry ticket as you can't book until 2 weeks before your tour at the earliest and the remainder of my spending money.

I'm not sure how often i will post in my PTR but in the next post i make i will post my itinerary for my trip.

Only 67 days to go. :)

nashville is a def on my bucket list of places I want to see....make sure you take plenty of food porn photos....the food in the south is awesome.
looks like a great itin, just dont forget to breathe:thumbsup2

Congrats on your first trip we liked Nashville and will go back 1 day not sure if your hiring a car or not but if you are it's well worth the 2 hour drive to Lynchburg to do the Jack Daniels tour our kids are disappointed we don't go near there this trip to do it again:). I should add I was stunned by the size of it I expected Nasville to be a little town.

Sounds like a great trip :) Good on you for going solo as well. I'm considering (more-so trying to get the courage) to go solo next year, but as a 20 year old I'm a little weary. 67 days is so soon, I can't wait for the 99% of the Australian board who are going to the land of the mouse in September to get back so I can indulge in some food porn and trip reports!

What a fantastic trip. Be sure to drop in and say hello to Keith and Nicole! I especially love the independence and self confidence you must have to do this at such a young age.

Sounds like a fabulous trip! When I was younger I did a lot of travelling on my own and loved it! Looking forward to hearing more about your trip and also when you get back!!

Congratulations! It sounds like an amazing trip that you've got planned. Nashville is also on my list so will be following carefully. I wish I was a bit more adventurous when I was younger and had the courage to go solo. Good for you!!!
