After Snow White, I browsed the shop, snapped some more pictures of the Castle, and browsed the shops around the Castle. I can't remember if I already mentioned that I'd never been much of a shopper and I hadn't bought much on my previous trips. I think I did, so sorry if I did! Hahaha. I shopped a lot in July and I told myself I wouldn't be shopping much since it had only been a month. We'll see if I stuck to that one!
I started taking pictures of things I liked so that I could remember and go back for those that I still wanted, and then hopefully didn't buy as much.
I'm probably quite close to my limit in pictures so I'll stop here. I need to get ready for my friends' vow renewal anyway, so I better go! Have a good weekend everyone!
I do have pictures of It's a Small World, but I'll save that for another day. Off to pack up my classroom. Two more days with students, but I have to move classrooms and move into a mobile for next year, so I have extra packing/cleaning to do. Yucky. Have a great weekend.
Now I take a ton more pictures on HM. This surprised me!
I guess it's warm enough to go on Splash. I had been on it in 2006, but I found it too chilly in 2007 when we were there. It was the only ride my nephew did on his own. So I really wanted to ride it.
There are tons more pictures of the queue on flickr if You want to see them. I decided to pick and choose in order to put it all into one post. I might be able to fit a few more, but now I can't remember which ones I've got. Oh well.
Off to Pirates next. Another one where I can't believe I didn't take any pictures! I guess I wasn't so sure of myself at this point... I've learned a lot since then AND upgraded my camera equipment.
At All Star Music, I took a little break then went to DTD for some shopping. I don't think I shopped first, just browsed, as I was on my way to church, so I didn't want to bring shopping bags with me!
Well, 2 years since my last post and I'm 6 days away from another Disney trip, so what do I do? Add to my TR from 6 years ago to pass some time! (Well, when I'm not in my temporary classroom so at least that will be ready when I come home a few days before I go back to school - and I say temporary because I was in a mobile the last 2 years and they are building 2 new classrooms this year for us!)
My breakfast. This was back when you could get 2 drinks on the QSDP if you used a meal for breakfast. So I always got water for later on.
I remember thinking I wouldn't get it again. The biscuit was good, and the French toast. The eggs were probably okay, but I'm not a huge sausage fan (I will eat them with apple sauce) and I don't really eat hash browns/breakfast potatoes either. I really don't know why I got that!
I talked with a lovely couple in line who took my picture. I do remember they were lovely. They had adopted some children and were foster parents as well. Beautiful people. The lady took a few pictures for me.
Mandatory monorail shot. (Has anyone seen the "literal" trailers on youtube? I LOVE the one for Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows one and two, "introductory helicopter nature shot" is what I thought of when I typed mandatory monorail shot.)
And then I went into MouseGear and took tons of pictures. I had spent likely almost $1500 a month earlier (Thanks Blanche and Dorothy- only I can't remember your Dis names!) and was trying NOT to spend the same amount again... but I did.
What is with me taking pictures outside the store/rides AFTER I go inside?
I really love this, and it's fun to look at products that may or may not be for sale anymore!
And then back outside after laughing like crazy at Turtle Talk with Crush! I was totally amazed with the technology and what they could do. I still love it but I think I have only seen it once more. I`ll have to be sure to go back. (Eugh, I can`t fix my accents and things... my usual fix isn`t working) When I want the slash it gives me my french accent and it shows that I`m on US when I click on the keyboard...)
After browsing the dump shop, I was heading to WS for my first ever table service meal. Yes, I'd done a few buffets/character meals, but this was to be my first TS.
I had never even walked into a building in WS before then, unless it was a ride. I was becoming a more mature Disney guest! Buahahaha I was learning that there was more to Disney than just rides. Imagine that!
