Well, this is a bummer. Up at midnight, 60 days out and not even one single fast pass available for Anna Elsa for my daughter. It says all the fast passes have already been given out for that day. Oh well, I'll keep looking to see if something will open up, in the mean time, got Tinker Bell for her instead.

Check the last possible day in your stay that you can go too MK. I struggles a bit with early in the week, but near the end of the week I had no issues getting a&e at preschooler friendly times. I've also read strategies about booking one person and copying that might be worth trying. See what you can do ASAP though, those seem to go fast.

good luck!

:( I just got FPs for us. 60 days out at midnight but it was for the next to last day of our 6 day trip. We had 3 MK days to pick from though. Good luck scoring one!

OP, keep checking. You'll secure something, especially if you only need 1-2 passes. (We ran into the same thing 60 days out on our most recent trip. I needed A&E for my DD and her BFF. Eventually I got them for both girls and over time tweaked them until I found a time slot that worked best w our plans for the day. Stuff does pop up if you keep an eye out.) pixiedust:

Don't lose hope! Some of the days of our trip that were previously filled up had FP options open up this morning. None of them worked for our schedule, unfortunately, but if you keep looking I'm sure you'll see some times available at some point over your trip. Good luck!

I am so nervous about making our FP+ reservations in a week and a half. My kids would LOVE to meet Anna and Else, and we will need a time suitable for pre-schoolers for it to happen. I remember that this same issue happened last year when people were making FP+ reservations for Sept 2014. Suddenly they were even harder to get than usual! My guess is they they close one of the rooms in Sept for refurb, but don't tell anyone.

The September issue had more to do with the Halloween parties, there are fewer regular park hours at MK once the parties start. Fewer hours = less FP+ capacity.

That does make a lot of sense. There are 3 Halloween parties during the week that we are going (we plan on going to MK all three of those days then hopping).

I am going to keep my fingers crossed that we will get our FP+. My plan is to try for only 4 out of the 7 of us, for the last day of our trip (the 7th day), right at midnight. I just need something before dinner time!

If you can't get an A&E Fastpass don't lose hope! We went during Spring Break without A&E Fastpasses and we never waited more than 15 minutes for them by going at Rope Drop. We did it 3 times and we were the first group, the third group, and the fourth group. You can be in the first few groups at Rope Drop if you follow these steps:

Get to MK as early as possible, be on that first bus out of your resort if on site or drive in very early if off site. Line up at a mickey reader, it doesn't matter which one, whichever reader can let you be towards the front of the mickey reader line is fine. Once they scan your magic bands to let you in line up as close to the rope as possible underneath either the right or left tunnel. As soon as the CMs start walking the rope back be as close to the rope as possible on the left side of Main Street (not on the sidewalk, be on the street but on the left half of the street). If you didn't get close to the rope during the welcome show you'll still be OK. There is a long walk from the train to the castle so if you're not in the first group walking through the train station you still have a lot of time to make up this distance since everyone is walking. If you just walk a little bit quicker than average you can be at the front of the rope at the hub even if your 100 feet back at the train station.

Now if you have a stroller be on the far left of the rope because that CM walks up a stroller ramp when you get to the castle (there is a curb everywhere else so you want to be on the left side to go up the ramp). Stay left as you walk through the castle. As you exit the castle you will head left around the carousel and around the stroller parking. You want to be as far left as possible here because everyone on the right will be fighting to go left around the carousel and the stroller parking. So if you're far left you have smooth sailing. As you pass stroller parking at CM will yell "Follow me to Anna and Elsa" and he/she will walk right into the queue line. Follow this CM right into the line.

If you follow my steps you can see A&E with an extremely limited wait at Rope Drop. It worked for me 3 days in a row during Spring Break peak times so it should work during slow times too. Unfortunately now you'll have the breakfast guests in front of you whereas during Spring Break there were no breakfast guests since EMH started at 7AM. But even with breakfast guests you'll still be near the front of the A&E line.

Keep checking. I'm staying off site and going during a peak time, and I was able to score A&E for 2 days of our trip at less than 30 days and not at midnight. Something will open up, especially at 45 days when people cancel.

Same here. I checked DIBBS everyday leading up to my 60-day mark and everything looked good ... until a few days prior when the early September arrivals started booking and then it got ridiculous. And we are going for only six days so a shorter trip than more people, and not arriving until Monday (Labor Day) so I am guessing everyone who arrived 2-3 days prior to us and staying an entire week booked up everything for that week. I'm going to keep checking but, worst case scenario, we're going to just do standby early one morning. Not RD b/c we have 8:30 am reservations at Crystal Palace, but the wait should not be too bad (@ 35 minutes) if we get in line @ 9:40 am or so. How said is it that we think of a 35-minute wait as "not too bad"? As long as I'm not standing in one of those 2-3 hour waits that I've heard have been the case for A&E, I'm fine with it!

Good luck!

Same here! Looked at 5am on our day for the 6th day of our trip and no A&E. Fortunately I have a 3.5yr DS and we met them last year so he won't be heartbroken or anything, I just wanted to do it again! I was surprised to find nothing.

Right on time....

If you look back a year ago on the boards, you'll see lots of complaints about A&E and 7DMT FP+ availability that coincided with the 60 day window for party season trips. Right now, everyone is happy because the 60 day window only extends to early September. I expect to start to see the complaints in about 2 weeks, and then they complaints will stop around mid-October because people will then be booking trips that fall after the last MVMCP on December 18th. It's pretty much like clockwork.

OP, your best bet is to just keep looking and trying to find one FP+ at a time, and then hope that they open additional availability for your trip a little later. Otherwise, I highly recommend a BOG pre-opening breakfast ADR and jumping into the A&E line first thing.

so a bit off topic but....you can book fast passes at midnight of your 60 day mark? I thought it was like ADR's where you can book at 6am online or 7am call???

Keep checking. Countless people were unable to get those FPs at the sixty day mark that later snagged them. We did last year.

Okay, so I have a random (and probably stupid) question about this because this is the first time I will be scheduling Fast Passes ahead of time. For the Anna and Elsa passes...do I only need to get 2 for my daughter and my niece, or will I need to get a 3rd one for myself since they are too young to walk through the lines on their own?

And another (probably stupid) question...I can still get Fast Passes at the parks for like Splash Mountain and Space Mountain at the kiosks in front of the rides, right? Or can you only plan your Fast Passes in advance now? So much has changed since I was there in 2013 haha

Thanks so much for anyone's help!

It typically opens at midnight. At one point it was opening after MK closed for the night (1 a.m. on EMH nights). You can only make them online, there's no phone option.

Is A&E open right at RD? I suppose the line won't be too long at RD

You can go at RD, however, be aware that BOG now is open before the park opens so a good number of those people will get to A&E or SDMT ahead of the people coming from the front of the park.
