DHS........do I know you or what??? For whatever reason I am not as big on the Christmas decorations at DHS compared to the other parks, but the Osborne Lights sure make up for it!!!
While Mark and Des headed to Rock & Roll Roller Coaster, Andy and I were headed here:
I'm with Des and Mark on this one........
After we finished with Walt's story, we decided to go see if we could get into the Animation Studio for a class. While everyone walked over there to check on it, I had a DIS meet outside of the Great Movie Ride. I had the good fortune of meeting Michelle (SoonerGirl) here on the DIS. And I know if there is no picture that it didn't happen. There was a picture. But it was so awful that I deleted it from my phone.
on extra DISmeets at Disney! And even though there isn't a picture, I guess I will give you a pass on the rule and believe it still happened!!!
A little window shopping...and at these prices that's all we could do:
Yeah, I would love to have some of the pictures there, but they sure are proud of them!
Des did another great job with her photography, and some pretty good efforts by everyone on the artwork. Certainly better than I would probably have done...........
First so glad the mammo was good !!!! I can't think who that character is either , the 3 pix looked great who didn't do one or am I miscounting
Unless Marv auctioned it off to finance future trips to Disney!!!
Hey, that's not a half bad idea..........or am I miscounting too???
I was going to do a poll, but I can't remember how. So I'll just post the question here and you guys/gals can give me your thoughts.
So my question to you is this. Actually....I'm going to make it two questions:
1) Which park would you go to if you just had one day? MK? Epcot? DHS? AK?
2) Which resort out of the following would you pick: POR-Riverside, Pop, CSR or Saratoga Springs?
I know I am a little late to this, but I would have to say Epcot for the park because there is enough to do there to fill up all your available time, and for you I would suggest staying at CSR because if you stay somewhere you aren't familiar with, you are going to want to tour your hotel and get pictures, which is going to take away from your limited time there.
Thanks, Rosie. I'm missing someone's picture...I think it was mine.
How convenient...........
Marv better not be taking any trips until he finishes his TR!
You mean I may have taken my last ever Disney trip???
So here is the plan. We fly to Jacksonville on April 6 (Saturday) and drive to Valdosta, Georgia. We meet with a customer on Sunday, April 7 and then we drive to Orlando. We will stay one night at POP! We are NOT fans of the values at all, but it is only one night and it was our cheapest option with the AP discount (POR was $145, CSR was $135 and POFQ was $200). I've made an ADR for dinner on Sunday night at the Yachtsman. We will have breakfast on Monday, April 8, at 7:30 at Boma and then we will go to EPCOT. We have never done Flower & Garden and I've been wanting to for years. So we may not do as many attractions as we'd like as we'll concentrate on a lot of that, but I'll be back two months later so it works for us.
Pop? Really? It's like I don't even know who you are anymore.............
Isn't this a business trip? I would think the cost wouldn't matter...........sounds like a business expense to me???
That is a very aggressive plan going from Pop to AKL for Boma, and then all the way to Epcot. Hope you have good bus karma so you don't lose too much of your F&G time.
I asked if Mark held the baby and she said no. He said, "I've held a football...I'll be good when the time comes." TYPICAL guy!
Sounds like solid reasoning to me...........
Thanks, Rosie. That's why we get along so well and take care of that nonsense Marv throws at us.
Don't think I would be bragging about thinking like Rosie......
So we had just finished trying our hands at an artistic drawing. Unfortunately, most of us failed at our attempts (Des' had the best).
I guessed that was her picture.
WOO HOO!!!! We finally got the cowboy.
Nice! There seems to be more of that lately!!!
We let the kids drive the car:
And we sat behind them to make sure there was no monkey shines during the meal:
At your age I'm guessing you and Mark feel more comfortable in the rumble seat anyway.............
While we were shopping, it started to rain. It was still coming down a little hard, so we got out the ponchos and once dressed, decided to leave the Studios for awhile and come back later to use our TSM fastpasses and to see Fantasmic...something Des had never seen. It surprised me as many times as Des has been to Disney that there was so much she had never done.
There is so much to do at Disney, it is very easy to find things you haven't done before. I still have a list that is much too long!!!
Well darn I was so far behind..... but I would have said ....
EPCOT and POP so
Now that sounds like something I would have done...........
Pat that is a Marv comment if ever I heard one !!!!
Okay, so now
I'M thinking like Rosie???
