2016 PVB Christmas Tree Exchange- Deadline Nov 15

Merry Christmas everyone! My family will be at PVB from December 16-26 and would love to share a tree with some other families for the holidays.

I will be providing a tree and decorations and coordinating the exchange. If you would like to join in the fun, post your requested dates here on the board. Then, follow it up with a private message to me with your real name, your requested dates, your email address and a cell phone number. If your plans change and you need to drop out, let me know so I can keep the list current.

Rules are very similar to the first page of the exchange information. Please, don't sign up if you think you won't follow through. This will involve YOU going to bell services to pick up and drop off the tree...they WILL NOT deliver to your room. You also have to nicely pack up the tree and ornaments for the next person...this is a great experience, but it only works if everyone is committed

Aww, thanks - well be long gone by then though. Coming down the 15th to 20th. I keep a lighted christmas Mickey head in our owners locker and he'll spruce things up again for the season. Pop on some Bing Crosby Melikalikimaka and we're good to go!

I'm interested but have a couple of concerns. How big a tree will you get? We will be four in a studio and don't want to be overwhelmed with clutter. And I'm going to guess I'd be the last with the tree. As Poly has no business center, where would I take it for shipping?

So I haven't bought the tree yet but I was thinking around 4ft. And honestly I have no clue about shipping it back. Let me find out and get back to you

So I will put a prepaid label back in the tree to ship it back and then all you have to do is leave it with bell serivces and they will get it to either FedEx or UPS. Easier than I thought!

Hast time we had a tree there was an envelope for shipping donations in with the tree and people added ornaments as the month went on.
Some left a gift for the families from wherever they lived. It was cool. I think we left Malleys Fudge Sauce!

Oh awesome!!! Welcome!!! So glad some others could join!! So I have a few ornaments in the box already and a small tree skirt. I will definitely be leaving an envelope and prepaid label to ship it back...but I think it's me sending it back anyways

Hi Guys, I wanted to let you know I am shipping out the tree tomorrow. It's in a while box with bright pink and green duct tape to help bell services identify it. I've inclued the tree, ornaments, tree skirt, extension cord, tape and shipping donation evelope. Please let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy your trips and Merry Christmas!!!

One thing to note (been trying to research this but not getting much info on the various sites) is that the Mouse may start charging $5/package received by bell services?

Apparently the policy changed on nov 14/15?

I think the chatter that I've gleaned thus far is that it's for packages that are ups/fedex/USPS but I'm not 100% sure.
