2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: September 14 - November 14, 2016

Here now in line for sse then I'll search for the AP place for glasses and stop by the festival center. Pairing lunch at spice road tables at 1. I'll probably grab something at one of the booths to tide me over before then.
I don't think you have to do anything for the AP glasses this year. I thought just entering on your AP worked.

I'm assuming the vouchers can't be used at places like the refreshment port for a Cronut or something right? Lol

No, last year they could only be used at the kiosks. Even with the wine increases it's still tough. It comes out to $7.38 a use so.... (Of course if you collect pins there some value there... I did want the pin last year)

They magically know you have entered the park. Glass pickup will be Friday at the earliest in innovations near the festival center. Don't know if it's East or West the one with colortopia in it. They have a ship set up there as well.

Chicken gyro from Greece. $4.50. Tasty, but unfortunately two of the four pieces of chicken had gristle and significant fat. It was a larger portion than I expected.

Beer cheese soup with pretzel bread from Canada. $4.25. Though I've been to F&W Fest before, this is my first time trying this. Wow, is there a heavy beer flavor in there. It was good, but powerful.

I would bet by the end of the day they will be loaded. Guaranteed people are walking around right now shooting the photos and they'll be on every site including here.

I didn't take photos because I knew the pros would, but one thing I noticed immediately was the price charged isn't necessarily the price posted. The sign for Canada said the soup was $4.75, but they only charged $4.25 which is why I took a photo of the receipt. That was a pleasant surprise!

Interesting on the price differential.
Gyro not appealing, even lettuce looks old.
Yes, that soup is good and who doesn't love a pretzel roll. :-)
Making us jealous!!

ACTUALLY I personally like to see "real" guests posts of the food because for some reason the bloggers always have such beautiful plates and setups, it's like they fix it up first.

Oh don't worry, I'll be posting pictures of the food. I just meant I won't be taking pictures of the prices. Ain't nobody got time for that when there is food to eat!

Thanks everyone for posting the info as it is coming.

I will definitely be getting the 16 tab sampler since I was planining on getting 2 of the 8s to cover my drinks. I didn't see anything about excluding those so I guess its safe to assume you can use them for cocktails again this year.

A bottle of Yangarra Shiraz where I am is 21.25. So Disney is selling a 21.25 bottle for 45.82. Which is not horrible. But that is comparing American selling prices compared to taxed to crap Ontarian prices.

Considering a restaurant mark up it's not that bad, but then if you're getting the worlds smallest pour of wine vs. a glass the value for the price is a little frustrating.

One of the wines at the New Zealand booth is more per glass than it is per BOTTLE here in Australia

No surprise there! I should just go to Oz for my next vacation!

Well you know there is a cost related to shipping it here...and a corkage fee ;)

:rotfl2:

I'm a big fan of wine so I'm bummed to see the significant price increases in some of the wines I know I'll enjoy. I wouldn't mind a higher price point if they were pouring more though...

Must admit that I would NOT want to see larger wine pours... I'd rather be able to try MANY!! Interesting how price increases there seem to range from NONE to PRETTY SIGNIFICANT. Makes it seem to me like there must be a legitimate reason.
