2013 Free Dining Watch

Good luck tomorrow, everyone! I called on the 6th at 7:02 am to add free dining to my existing reservation, and I was on hold for about 15 minutes. It also took a while for the CM to pull up my reservation, but all I could do was bounce up and down while she clicked away on her computer! My co-workers all got to see my epic happy dance when I hung up the phone!

Do you guys think its absolutely necessary to call at 7am? I was thinking of calling around 10. Is it because they might run out of rooms?

The October - December free dining dates are not usually not released until July, sometimes August. I haven't heard anything that would indicate that they won't be offering FD for select low crowd weeks during that time frame. If they release November FD dates this year, I would say they would be around November 10-21 and November 29 or 30 - December 5 or 6 - give or take a day

This is my question.... People keep mentioning smaller window dates being excluded? I'm confused... Looking here http://www.mousesavers.com/historical-information-on-walt-disney-world-resort-discounts/ it shows the entire time frame being included so for instance Oct 2 - Dec 13th... AO why are people here mentioning smaller windows like nov 10-21st? Thanks!!

Because Mousesavers doesn't include the black out dates for those historical free dining time frames. I don't know why everyone always shares that particular link, because its not much help without the blackout dates, which are different every year.

For sure that makes sense. I can't decide now that AOA LM rooms are not included what I want to do, if I call later it might make the choice easier

I was making a change to a reservation and happened to ask the CM about the possibility of FD in October and her response was that they "expect" that it will be offered as it always has been but they haven't gotten confirmation. I'm hoping.

For those without a visa trying to book today, the offer is LIVE online! I just checked. I am already booked, having called on Monday, but you can book your offer online without waiting for an agent on the phone now that the offer is live for the general public.

Yes...what number worked for you...I called in and the CM told me that Disney dining is getting all of the resort calls and she suggested I call back in about 30 mins to see if the phone lines had been fixed yet...they are thinking the lines are crossed somehow.

I have been on hold since 7:00 AM EST and it went directly to hold. I have had no voice prompts at all.
