I don't have what you are looking at but there are 3 components to dues - Annual Operating Budget, Annual Capital Reserves Budget & Taxes. Sounds like you are looking at the first part. Another page should have the total of all 3. Do you have BWV?

It's the same for everyone.

If you pay in a lump sum, the fees are due in January (usually the the 15th I think), but there is generally no late fee until sometime in the middle of February (again, I think it is the 15th). Your 2010 dues must be paid prior to check-in if you have a trip scheduled after the January due date, but before the grace period ends in February.

I wait to pay mine until after the 11 month window for December 2010 reservations is past. Phones are too busy and I won't sit on hold more than 2 or 3 minutes to give ANYBODY money, lol. You can also pay online if you trust the DVC website not to mess it up. I don't.

If you pay by the month, Disney will take the new amounts out - no action needed on your part.

Your contract will specify what happens with the dues for the 2009 calendar year. Not 100% sure, but I believe dues have to be current for the sale to go through. Assuming you close before the end of the year, the process for 2010 should be as I described.

Yes. I call Member Accounting and give them my cc info and my Disney Rewards card info to pay our dues. But the 800 number is crazy busy in January due to all the people calling to make 11 month reservations for the following December.
