After all of the rush to judgement today against the police officers - with very little unbiased evidence - the news anchors are now pleading with us to not rush judgement against the protestors in Dallas. The media has spent the entire day inciting emotions and now they tell us to not assume anything. This is ridiculous!

This is just heartbreaking and exhausting. So much hurt and fear and instability in this world. I "back the blue" and respect those who wear the badge... My dad was a Dallas cop. But I'm appalled and horrified at those officers who should not wear the uniform and have acted out of ignorance or hate or incompetence.

Now reports indicate four DART officers have been shot, one of whom is dead. There is an active shooter in a parking garage and the area is not secure. Protesters are being evacuated. Bus and rail services are suspended.

Of course, this is an active scene, so the media may not have all the correct information at this time.

One officer is confirmed deceased. It is at least 6 officers down. Appears to be a planned attack on the Dallas police.

The news is shoved down our throats 24/7. In the 'olden days' these stories would have led, but they would have been reported and then they would have moved on to weather. Now, cnn, fox, et all show it non stop. I can't believe we are now at the point where we are actually being shown shootings on tv..real, graphic, up close shootings. It's too much..too much.

What I heard in a news conference today seemed to encourage those "protests, vigils, expressions of outrage". SMH. I think the blood of these 4 officers in Dallas is on people like this, and the governor of Minnesota.

"...And I would just ask those who question the sincerity or legitimacy of protests and vigils and expressions of outrage who somehow label those expressions of outrage as quote unquote political correctness, I just ask folks to step back and think: what if this happened to someone in your family? How would you feel?..."

Right.... I agree. The cops are trying to do their job. They're not perfect, and in reality a bad split-second decision very likely means loss of life either for the sought after, or the cop if he doesn't react. It's a crappy deal for the cop, but indeed that's the job they signed up for.

But the answer is NOT going to murder cops. That just shows the low brain power of these folks.
