Looking to book our 2nd cruise, but our first with our new DD, in either July or August 2011. She will be 14 months at the time.
Any suggestions or advice in general or if we should do a 5 day double dip in CC, or a 4 day? Especially since I noticed that extra day adds over $500 to the price.

    Thanks everyone!

There won't be much difference in the actual cruises except for the extra day at CC and the cost.

We took our DD on a 4 day when she was 5 months old. We enjoyed a 7 night, and many since, starting at 16 months old. There is so much to do, and she had a great time. In fact, we are heading out on her 6th DCL vacation, and she just turned 6 2 weeks ago. She is our little cruiser, as she has been on Carnival too. My thought was to hook her young so we can enjoy for years to come.

It isn't worth $500 to me for an extra day at Castaway Cay. I wouldn't spend all day at any beach with a baby - even with only 1 day at CC. Save the money and spend several days at WDW instead.
