Has anyone seen a 12 x 12 scanner? I thought someone here on the board was talking about one a while back. I went to Staples today and the guy thought I was crazy.

Epson makes a 12x12 scanner, the 1640 XL. It is almost $3000. You can scan both halves of the page and stitch them together and it turns out great with a regular scanner.

Arcsoft has a great program for doing this.

12 x 12 scanners are expensive but just an FYI:

There are two printers out now with 13" carriages so you can print larger pages.

Epson Stylus Photo 1280 printer ($499) and

    Canon i9100 printer ($399)

Epson also offers 12 x 12 acid-free lignin-free, buffered paper that come in matte and semigloss finishes.

Apparently, the 12 x 12 Matte Scrapbook paper comes with ArcSoft Panorama Maker Software. ($29 reg)

I can't wait till I can afford one of those!!!!:p
