No, it's just that they only want to give you discounts during certain times of the year, which is totally normal. You can pay for the full price MYW tickets like everyone else and go when you want. And you _still_ have a discounted annual pass with NO restrictions.

The discounts in Florida are much more fair than what they offer in California. I still think that the Florida pass is a good deal despite the blocks. You can use it over a nice weekend and be done.

You are going to pay for it no matter which way you go. And again not everyone wants an annual pass. Hard to believe but true
